He grinned, then stood up. "Wait right there." He walked toward the back of the ice cream shop, and as he stepped through the doorway that lead to the restrooms, there was a flash of light as he disappeared.

About five or ten minutes later, there was another flash as he seemed to walk into the doorway from nowhere, smirking as he walked back over to her. "Here you go," he said, hanging a lei, and a very good-smelling one, around her neck. "Could've brought you back a hula girl, but I figured you wouldn't be as appreciative of that," he added with a smirk.

"How's this for an answer?” she smirked, trying to visualize a tropical beach at dusk, deserted except for Paul, and a pile of clothes that looked suspiciously like the ones Haley was wearing, and her, out swimming in the water, submerged up to her neck. Once she had the scene in her mind, she gingerly tried to reach out and share it with Paul.
