Sept 22 - Shepherds Market & Hyde Park

Coming up from the tube at Hyde Park Corner Sara steps out on the sidewalk, following Will. She reaches out to take his hand but stops herself at the last second, silently sighing to herself. Instead she points across the street.
"Shepherds Market should just over there."

"Alrighty then..." Will says, a tad nervous. "You've...you've got a bit more experience at this than I do, so why don't you lead the way?"

"It's just shopping, you know. Nothing that mysterious about it." She smiles softly and takes the lead.
The two make their way to Shepherds Market, historical buildings and a certain flair of antiquated aristocracy define the area. Sara knows about as much as Will about where to look for things so she just strolls along the shop-windows, keeping her eyes out for clothing stores.

"It's a very mysterious process. I'm looking for a large bin marked 'jeans' and another marked 't-shirts'. I don't think that's going to do me very much good here.

Pretty area of town, though," she added, walking close to Sara.

"Definately. And I'm not sure the stores here are even allowed to have anything resembling bins." She chuckles and moves along, spotting a not too fancy store, although it's still miles away from "jeans & t-shirt", and steers towards it.
"This looks promising." Getting over herself a little she takes Will's hand for a moment and pulls her along into the store.

It's still FAIRLY fancy; this is Mayfair, after all. 'Far from jeans and a t-shirt' is right; while it's nowhere near a 'designer' outlet, it's still a decently fancy place, with quite a wide selection

Will kind of stands their gawking for a little bit. "Wow...

OK, you're the boss, what do I do first?"

"Easy, you look around for anything that might look good, take it, and wen you have an adequate pile you go try them on." She smirks and drags Will along to racks of tops and starts browsing. Pulling something from the rack with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes she holds it up to Will. "How about this?"

"I'm still not used to this whole 'trying things on' thing."

Will's eyes bugged out, just a little, when Sara picked up the top. "Where's the rest of it?"

"Somewhere on the floor of the designer, I reckon." She smirks and starts the pile with it before adding some more.
"And you propably won't get around trying things on unless you want your measurements taken..."

"For now? You ARE enjoying yourself..." Will says, as she steps into a booth, emerging a short while later in the practically-a-corset-lolita top.

Sara's got a good eye for size, at the very least...

"Well?" Will said, standing there with her hands on his hips.

"I think if you're trying to get me hit on LESS, we're in the wrong store" Will joked. "We're looking for things WE like, anyway.

"Like, for instance, not this one. Feels too weird--like someone stole the back of my shirt."

He goes in and returns in long sleeved gauze thing. "This, I think, is slightly more up my alley."

"Yeah. I wasn't exactly serious with that one anyway. This on the other hand is much better. It actually looks good instead of skimpy." She smiles and takes a walk around Will to get a good look at the top.

"Mhmm! That definately goes in the yes pile. I'd say it's the favourite one of the things I picked, but you're the one who has to wear it, so..."

"And I'm not the one who has to be looking at it. As long as I can wear it without dying of embarrassment, I shall leave it up to you. And I think I can do this one. I have to admit, the ruffles on some of the others? Not exactly me."

"I'm sure they'd look good, but I know what you mean. It's why I don't have anything like that in my wardrobe either. At least try on the short-sleeved one though before deciding." she smiles.

"Your wish is my command," Will says, giving Sara a quick peck on the cheek as she walks by, and re-emerging a short while later with the short-sleeved ruffle.

She blushes faintly at the kiss, looking around a bit nervously while Will is in the changing room.

"Not the no-sleeve one, silly. Although it does look good. I meant the one without ruffles."

Will gives a blank stare, and then turns around and stalks back into the changing room, mumbling something, before coming back out in the proper clothes.

"Hrmm....it's a little flowery, but I guess it's not bad," Will said, trying to see the back in a mirror.

"Yep!" She nods. "It looks nice and not too frilly, like the others. And I don't think you'll get around at least a little bit of 'girly' on your clothes." She chuckles and pokes one of the flowers on the top.

"I guess that's all of the first batch," Will said, looking around at the other options...

"Hmm... are you sure you want 'more' flowery?" She chuckles. "That pink one could work although I'm not sure it'd fit well with your green hair. And can't really go wrong with a plain long-sleeve. But take a good look at that black mini-tee and tell me again you want to put that on without anything else under it..."

He looks again at the mini-tee.

"Maannn, you're right. I guess I gotta start looking for, well, undergarments. That was kind of the whole impetus, wasn't it?"

"Heck, I'll just get these now--no sense in backtracking." Will takes the two shirts Sara picked out, along with a couple more, and goes to pay.

Will walks up to the counter and, after a moment's hesitation, pulls out his credit card and ID.

Sara watches Will pull out his cards and blinks a few seconds. "Uhm... Why don't I pay for this. You can give me the money back later. Might be less... complicated." She pulls out her own wallet to pay.

"No, don't worry, you can get the next one," Will smiled showing Sara his ID---it's one for a 'Willow' Stanton, complete with photo.

Will gives her a wink.

After they pay and leave, Will turns to Sara and said "I messed around with the laminator--I suppose it's techniacally a fake ID, with all the information correct."

"Ah, I was wondering if it might be some fancy high-tech thing. You could ask Binary if that'd be possible. And ID that always fits how you look." She ponders as they walk along the street. Spotting Rigby & Peller up ahead she steers Will towards it.
