After walking to a bus stop, and from there to a subway, and from there to a DIFFERENT subway, and from there to another bus stop, Kimberly and Raven had reached Epping Forest, Raven carrying a backpack on her back as she went.
"Hrmmmm. Like, I wish I had brought, y'know, a compass? Or something? Finding the right spot will be, like, tricky."

"You'll know when we're in the spot, right? We'll just walk around till we find it." she says, totally not underestimating the size of the forest. Nope.

"This is important, Kim! I wasn't expecting there to be so many, y'know, lines and whatnot.
Or people."

"I'm sure there's totes gonna be less people once we get a bit deeper into the forest."

"Right! I mean, like, it's a forest. Who'd be here if they didn't have to be?"

"Yeah. I dunno what all those people want here... None of them look like they know anything about witchcraft though so I betcha there's gonna be nobody at your spot."

"Who knows! London is a mystical land! They have MYSTICS here."

"They got, like, cameras and fannypacks. Totally mystical."

"Fanny packs totally are NOT mystical. Ugh, I totally asked someone about their fanny pack, and, like, they got all offended."

"Yeah people are weird here sometimes."

"I know, right?
Ooh! I think this clearing will be perfect to set up the candles!"

"See I told you. Compass. Pff!"

"Excellent!" she said, getting out a bottle of some kind of white powder. "Now, gather some things up for the fire, ok?"

"Aye aye!" she mock-salutes and goes stomping through the woods, chopping at things with a purplish-glowing axe and picking through the aftermath to gather some stuff to burn.

Raven was carefully sprinkling the white powder into a pentragram in a circle shape, counting her footsteps carefully.
"Hey, Kim? How many X-people went off into space? Was it 8 or 9?"

"I dunno. I think one was, like, a robot or sumthing. Does that count as a X-person?"

"I didn't BRING a flashlight!" she fretted.

"Rad!" she says and pulls out her phone to hand it to Raven.
"It turns off after a bit though so maybe I should, like, keep pushing the button while you do the ritual."

"Right," she said, taking off her hat, and fumbling with the clasp on her shirt.
"Hopefully, the spirits will be listening today."

Kim nods and puts on her serious face, sitting down outside the circle but in reach of the cell-phone to poke it occasionally and keep the display lit.

Raven continued to unrobe. "I mean, I understand they are, like, busy, you know? But this is important."

"Well that's why we're doing this, yeah? To show them that it's totally serious enough to come out here. Though I think you're are, like, way overdoing it." she says, nodding at the growing pile of clothes.

"You're the witch!" she says a bit more enthusiastically. If Raven says it's important it probably certainly is.

"Oh spirits...
I am a witch of ancient lore, I petition these trees, and the forest floor. Converge thyself upon this site, spider weaving, power and might. Air and Fire, Water and Earth, aid in my quest, I call you forth. Arcadia, Arcadia, I intone, thrice the power you have shone..."
She shot a quick glance over at Kim as she chanted, giving her a "well?" look, as she began to open her bag.

Kim shoots a 'Do I have to?' glance back along with a "You're the one doing the magic(k)."

Raven frowned a little, and shot her another look back, like, duh, c'mon Kim, get with the program

"Fiiiine." She gives the cellphone another poke to keep it lit up while she goes about taking her clothes off as well. Raven's right, gotta do this properly.

While Kim was busy, Raven pulled out a
small doll with pink string hair and a sewn up slit down the back, and began to wave her hand over it, mumbling incantations as she did so, before continuing.
"Open my spiral of strength and sorcery, encompass the soul you have granted me. Pentacle of old, stones of deep, protection around, assistance I seek..."

Once she's done undressing Kim stands up a bit straighter than before, seeming more motivated and engrossed over Raven's ongoing ritual.

She nods and goes around the circle, lighting the candles and ending at the cell-phone, giving it a poke to light up again.
Then, somewhat in tune with Raven's chanting, she starts to dance.
