Planting himself, he got his hands gripped at the joint of the vault door.

And alarms blared as gas shot out of vents in the wall--Legion ignored it as he walked inside.

She looks like she has something clever to add (or something she thinks is clever anyway) but the alarm blaring cut her short and instead she lets out a blast at Gideon, intending to pin him to whatever wall he'd end up hitting.

Belial wasn't gentle, his powers hit Kat like a battering ram.

There's something to be said about being a thrill-seeker but this was just way too much and not the good kind of fear either so Kat falls down to her knees, whimpering as she swats at things that aren't there.
