Mel just waves for McDohl to follow her as the piece of paper turns into a cobra that immediately wraps around Sara's arm and sinks it's fangs into it.

The Hall of Memories was there, of course--a huge library, with Stanly Bowen, professor....asleep at the front desk.

"You really are one of Sam's students." she says, rolling her eyes at the sleeping anthropomorphic version of mental faculties. As she walks along the halls a shadow seems to follow in her wake, eating away at the books and eventually rotting the shelves they're standing in.

The pages flipped and twisted and burned, the words lifting up and then vanishing from the paper as they rotted and hit the ground, turning into so much dust, which was then, itself, blown away by a strange wind.

"I don't know who Tink is but apparently so." she says, trying to brush the little fairy aside like you would with an annoying fly.

Apparently, in Will's head, Tink was capable of shooting out a little energy bolt which would sting quite badly.

Because, uh, that's what she did.

"You little pest!" Mel takes a step back and looks past Tink at one of the bulbous 'dream-plants' behind the fairy. From the ground a black-grey rot seems to seep into the plant which starts twisting and turning, a crack forming in the bulb that eventually tears open into a jagged maw that proceeds to snap at Tink.

Mel shoots Tink another glance to make sure she stays out of her way.

"Now. This is where the real foundation is set. Root out the ones that are unfavourable to what you have in mind and twist the ones that are close enough into what works for you. Then you go about building new memories on top of that." she explains as the garden starts to change, a lot of plants rotting away, other sprouting thorns and developing a sickly looking glow.

Old plants dropped, dusted, and were blown away, and the ones that remained really appeared more like weeds than anything else.
