Kat and Nick would find themselves expected, and ushered to a booth in the back of a rather cheap Chinese restaurant. They were, for the moment, alone.

With no pupils, it was hard to tell where or if he was looking. "Do you have the case?"

"Well, then, I assure you I am the real deal," he smirked. "Though if you don't believe me, you can take your chances with the two that just followed me in," he said, shrugging a shoulder at the door, where two guys in sweaters and khakis were coming in, looking around.

"Whaddya think Kat? Should we believe him?"

"Nick, carry the case."

The blind man quickly led them down through the kitchen, weaving expertly through the mess and confusion of a kitchen...and then stopped at the back door.

"...someone's out there."

Around a silver rolls-royce were four dudes with bandannas over their faces.

"Shit! There they are!" one said, and rushed forward with a lead pipe.

"Guessing that's not your ride?" Kat deadpans as the expensive car starts hovering up.

The guy with the pipe went down...and then flipped open the end of the tube and pressed a small red button, while the other three quickly dove behind some cover.

Nick threw up his strongest shield.

"Car. Up. Fast."

Expecting an explosion of some kind Kat and the Rolls Royce shoot up further into the sky.

The Rolls, in fact, DID then explode, with a loud shockwave, sending very expensive shrapnel flying in all directions, as the shockwave ripped down the alleyway.

The blind man was knocked to the ground.

"Shit that was close." Kat mumbles as she comes down again to slam into the group of goons to knock out the remaining ones.

Nick dropped the shield.

"I'll live. Behind you.." he said, as one of the first knocked down guy hurled his pipe towards Nick's head.

Nick used his power to push against the guy's arms and spun around to punch him in the gut.

Kat landed, smashing two of the remaining three ground guys with her force on landing, leaving one guy scrambling for something in his pocket.

Nick's blow knocked down the guy trying to hit him in the head, but the two from the restaurant barreled into him from behind.

"Oh no you don't!" Extending a beam of gravity to the guys head she attempts to yank him towards her and directly into her fist.

Nick fell hard, but then responded by flying up with the thugs in tow.
