April 1 - Trouser Adventure... er, not like that.

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice had convinced Murphy it was in her best interests to get a few new pairs of trousers that actually fit her. This landed Murphy in the dreaded practice of... shopping.

"Oh it's not going to be that bad," Janice said.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy was attempting to hide behind Janice. An impossible task, but she was making the effort.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"It's not like I'm going to make you try on the whole store," she said as they walked into the department store.

[Hannah Murphy]

"Say that now..."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Are you denying that you need new trousers now?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"No," Murphy grumbles, trying to slump.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Then we'll try to make this painless, eh? You'll feel better after."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy nods reluctantly, following Janice.

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice led Murphy to where the jeans were.

"Now, what size were the last ones that fit? That's probably where we need to start looking."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy mumbles her size to Janice, avoiding the need for her player to look up a reasonable pant size for the girl.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Well okay, does the style of these look okay to you?" Janice said, holding up a pair to Murphy, that was one size larger.

[Hannah Murphy]

"Yes."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Alright, then let's see if they fit, or if we still need to go bigger."

She handed the jeans to Murphy.

"Don't try to force them. If they don't fit, they don't fit."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Alright," Murphy says, slinking towards the fitting room.

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice waited patiently. No need to embarrass the poor girl. Hopefully the pants weren't too tight, and thus would not involve Murphy hopping about in them and accidentally destroying the changing room.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy made her way out of the fitting room without incident. The jeans looked to be a very nice fit. The girl herself looked a bit embarrassed but generally happy.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Looking good. Seems like the first guess was a winner, eh?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"Different cut maybe?" Murphy asks, looking at the jeans, "Don't want to tear them."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"You want them looser maybe? Or just hang differently? Higher or lower?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"Look good. Feel good," Murphy says, not sure how to explain, "Can't run easily."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Okay, a little looser in the legs, maybe?" She held up another pair for Murphy... that appeared to be bell-bottoms.

[Hannah Murphy]

"Maybe," Murphy says, taking the pants from Janice.

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice nodded, and again waited patiently.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy smiles as she comes out, "Better."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Not quite the look that's in style, but you pull it off well." She said with a smile.

[Hannah Murphy]

"Thanks," Murphy says, grinning.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Few pairs of these, then?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"Definitely."

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice nodded, and picked out a few shades of jeans in the same style and size. A light pair, a darker pair, and a black pair.

[Hannah Murphy]

"Thanks for helping," Murphy says.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"No worries. Helps keep your bum covered, eh?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"Exactly," Murphy says with a nod.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Because after all, there's a time to have your bum covered, just like there's a time to not."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy laughs, "All the fun times are when it's not."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Perhaps, perhaps. How would you appreciate them if you didn't space them out, though?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"Point."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"No, no, the points come with no-trousers time." She said with a smirk as they headed towards the checkout.

[Hannah Murphy]

"So that's what they mean by scoring," Murphy says.

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice blushed at that.

"...maybe."

[Hannah Murphy]

Awkward silence followed the two girls as Murphy paid for her pants.
