Issue 1 Downtime

Several stories high above the mass of limos, a hatch popped open on the finely tiled roof of Tony Starks Mansion revealing Felixs curious face as he looked around, before pulling himself out and giving Rhi a hand up too as he set his bag down, failing to take in the amazing view the height was giving them.

Rhi followed him out though she didn't fail too stop and appreciate the view. She wrapped her arms around her middle, the sounds from the party drifting up to her, it was surreal up here amongst the chimmneys and she found her mood lifting again.

"This is beautiful."

Felix now took it in too and smiled. Kneeling down, he opened his bag up and pulled out a thick pair of large blankets, setting one down, he took a seat.

"Yea, it...it is beautiful," Felix glanced back at Rhi, and patted the blanket for her to join him.

Rhi slipped over and sat on the blanket beside Felix, her eyes still out upon the view.

"Thanks Felix."

Up high, the London wind was stronger and colder and Felix draped his second blanket around Rhi as she sat next to him.

"Anytime," Felix watched Rhiannon for a few seconds, before turning to admire the view too as he pulled his bag closer.

"What is it?" Rhi put her hand on Felix's leg, her eyes still on the view.

"I didn't know if I should've waited 'till later or not," Felix smiled, reaching into his bag, "But I figure now...."

Felix pulled out a large, sparkling clean glass bowl, ornate patterns adorning its base with 'For Rhi' inscribed on its underside, inside were two large water-filled plastic bags housing a pair of black, white and yellow Angel-Fish, "is as good a time as we might get tonight... Happy Birthday Rhi."

"Oh they are so beautiful!" Rhi took the bowl and held it in her hands in wonder, raising it up so that she could look closely at the fish.

"I've never seen anything like it, you shouldn't have!"

"Aw, it's nothing, it's your birthday," Felix grinned as he reached back into his bag, "and I figured...you know, you'd like it."

His hands emerged clasped under the platter of a moderately sized chocolate cake, the words 'Happy Birthday' messily written in icing with a smiley face underneath, "You like cake too, right?"

"I LOVE IT! Did you make it?' Rhi rested the fish carefully down and lent over to kiss Felix happily.

"Birthdays are weird aren't they?"
