Simon's feet gripped the edge of the roof as he leaned over the edge, hands at his sides and tail sticking out far behind him to counter balance. He looked down at the two vampires on the pavement below before putting a hand to his headset, looking up at Chloe.

"Enkidu here. Cyber, Shaman, you two alright?"

"I think so" Simon said into his headpiece. "We had a couple of jumpy bastards up here but I think they're done for now. Everything else seems fine."

Juma lets out a grunt over the coms, then manages to shift enough vocal cordage back to something remotely human to speak. It's still gutteral and a little hard to understand. "Good. Got one pinned."

"Keep him that way. We'll probably want something to interrogate."

The creepy duo weren't moving, apparently dead from the fall. And Juma's weight seemed enough to keep the struggling Clown Mask held down.

Unfortunately, the fire Calvin started was starting to spread, quickly. It seemed they'd need to hurry up any sort of investigations if they wanted to get out of there without being turned into Kentucky Fried Mutants.

Satisfied that the two assailants had been dealt with Simon walked back toward the skylight which was now smashed. Opening the velcro flap of the pouch strapped to his thigh he removed two of the industrial-strength glowrods. He cracked them over his knee and shook them around a bit to get the chemical reaction going before dropping them down into the room below.

"Oh, hell." Cal hurried into the back, letting his eyes scan the room at a measured pace, letting HAL analyze what he was seeing, looking for anything worth noting, especially any computers or file cabinets.

Cal spots a single computer, and a single file cabinet. There are also a variety of gruesome instruments, they look like horror-movie surgical tools, most of them are bloodstained.

There's no time to search the cabinet or computer, either the team takes them physically out of the building, or leave them behind.

The fire isn't raging out of control yet, but it's to the point that the roar of the flames is audible from anywhere in the building, an entire wall has been ignited.

Cal swore, then, with his right arm, yanked the cords out of the computer and hefted it under his arm.

Guys, get the hell out of here before this place burns down! he thought over the comm link as he ran for the exit.

The room with the 'frogs' is grim indeed. There are low vats of some kind of dark greenish liquid. Hanging from the wall is an exsanguinated person, tubes running from major veins into the green vats. There are some racks of test tubes, and small metal cabinet. The rest of the room is mostly just full of trash and debris from the fight. It smells like an abattoir in there.

Juma manages to shift back close enough to human to get hands and hauls his prisoner up, man-handling him out of the building but keeping a strong grip. He's more than willing to break bones since the injuries don't seem to be slowing the masked man down much.

Simon jumps down through the skylight, landing on all fours in a crouch. He immediately rushes over to the poor person and works on setting them free.

"Galah! See if you can snag some of this stuff to take back with us. We gotta bug out!"

The corpse falls limply onto Simon's shoulders as he cuts it free, the sudden dead weight putting Simon off balance for a moment.

Meanwhile, Juma still has a minor battle on his hands, but after delivering a beating that would have killed a human being three or four times over, the masked assailant goes limp enough to drag out of the building.

The fire is really going now, having made its way to the roof. Soon, two full walls and the roof will be aflame.

Chloe dove down into the warehouse and grabbed a rack of test tubes and then flew back out as quickly as she could landing at the van just as Jubilee and Cassiel flew up.

"Looks like we missed the party." Jubilee remarked as the colored disk that she had been riding on touched the ground and then vanished.

Cassiel touched down next to her, surveying the scene. "The kids certainly know how to improve the property value," he mused. "Still, I suppose we could do something about the immediate problem." A telekinetic field appeared, blocking the air flow around the blaze, preventing it from spreading into the room.

"Damn it" Simon muttered to himself. He'd hoped there was a chance to save this one. With the corpse over his shoulder he leaped up and scaled back out through the skylight, jumping down to the pavement outside. On the ground he got an idea of the scale of the fire that was raging through the building.

"Wow, guess I won't be making a second trip." He headed toward where the van was parked, having to give the warehouse a wide bearth due to the intense heat and toxic smoke.

"Enkidu to team. Is everyone out?"

Simon smiled at Chloe. If he wasn't carrying a corpse over his shoulder he probably would have hugged her. With the telekenetic field in place they were able to make their way quickly to where the others were grouped without worrying about being singed.

"I've got two downed hostiles back there. We found this one hooked up to some vats and stuff. Pretty sick." He knelt down to lay the body on the concrete, giving it a bit of respect.
