Work Hard, Play Hard - Nightclubbing Trip: Sept 2 evening

[Zoe Walker]

"I only have eyes for you.." she bats her eyelashes coquettishly at Victoria.

Ryan put his arm around her, his hand resting comfortably on her stomach. "Oh, I'm liking it just fine," he chuckled. "You're an amazing dance partner, by the way. I'm sure you hear that a lot, though."

[Rick Ferguson]

He nodded at Marcus, and then turned to Victoria.

"Oh, hey. I'm Rick, nice to meet you."

And there's that last name...Valentine. Hmm...

[Nina Madaraki]

She laughs playfully, "I like you."

"I'm glad," Nina says, "It's horrible when people don't like you and then there's the yelling and at the end of the day everything is on fire and you've lost your hat."

"Oh, and I like you too."

[Marcus Kingston]

Marcus stared at Victoria for a moment, it had more of a hint of curiosity than being freaked out or anything. He looked to Anita and responded to her earlier question. "I'm good Anita! This place is pretty nice."

[Zoe Walker]

"And really, when everything is on fire, you need your hat more than ever."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita turns her head up to kiss Ryan's neck. "I don't get tired of hearin' it. You're a good dancer, it's fun ta dance with ya."

She turns to Marcus and smiles. "Good! I'm havin' fun, but ya'll should dance, yer missin' out on the main attraction."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Flattery will get you everywhere, darling," Victoria, said dryly, smirking at the girl. She caught Marcus and Rick's looks, rolling her eyes slightly. "And yes, she was my mother."

[Nina Madaraki]

"And really, when everything is on fire, you need your hat more than ever."

"Exactly," Nina says, accepting her drink from the waitress with a smile and taking a sip.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Good," Ryan said. "Then just let me know whenever my dancing services are needed," he chuckled.

[Rick Ferguson]

"Heh. I thought so. I wasn't around her much." But boy, do you act like her already.

[Zoe Walker]

"Flattery will get you everywhere, darling," Victoria, said dryly, smirking at the girl. She caught Marcus and Rick's looks, rolling her eyes slightly. "And yes, she was my mother."

"Duly noted," she smirks back, then casts a blank look from Vickie to the boys.

"Exactly," Nina says, accepting her drink from the waitress with a smile and taking a sip.

"That reminds me, I need a new hat. Gonna have to make that Camden shopping trip happen soon."

"Sorry," Victoria told Zoe. "Everyone who went to Xavier's knew my mother from when she taught there. So everyone is looking at me funny but 'too polite' to ask the obvious question."

[Zoe Walker]

"Ah. Must be hard, growing up in her shadow and stuff."

[Marcus Kingston]

He sighed, Victoria pretty much called that. "It's nice to meet you Victoria. I'm Marcus. Sorry..dealt with so much clone stuff. Didn't want to really assume something wrong."

He winced a little at that response.

Sara leans back in her seat, listening to the conversations around her and finishing off her beer. Her eyes don't stay paticularly long on Victoria, having seen enough people of the gothic-variety in her life to be too baffled by her appearence.

Jess had teamed a pair of tight fitting low rise jeans with a shimmering metallic spagetti top for the night out, she wasn't as big on black as some of her compatriots evidently were.

A bottle held loosely in one hand, she sauntered over to the main group was, having spent some time checking out the guys on the dance floor.

"To be honest, this is the first time I've been around anyone who's known her," she said, shrugging.

"Camden? Is that where you get those sort of clothes," Nina says, "They're very interesting."

"Camden? Is that where you get those sort of clothes," Nina says, "They're very interesting."

"Yeah, that's what I hear. Anita and I are gonna go down there soon."

Anita's blush is clearing a little, she takes a couple of deep breaths. "This is amazin'. Totally worth breakin' trainin' for."

"I see. She guided Marcus and I to safety once when we were under attack."

[Jessica Temple]

Jess smiled at Zoe, giving her best, but not terribly good, impersonation of Chloe's far more cultured accent.

"Hey." she said, covering a smirk with a swig from her beer bottle.

[Nina Madaraki]

"You're really Ms. Valentine's daughter?" Nina asks Victoria, overhearing the conversation, "I had no idea. That's so cool."

Nina sounds completely sincere.

[Zoe Walker]

"I dunno who all you've met, Chloe, but this is the current gang." Apparently the club noise helps Jessica's deception, and Zoe introduces each in turn.

Anita looks over at Jessica, and cocks her head, as if puzzled by something.

Victoria smirked, giving Jessica a 'come on, really?' look, but didn't tip anyone off to the deception.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"What are you talking about? Everything is training if you spin it right," Ryan teased. "Just... ah, don't tell Lumis I said that. I don't want the team taken away from me already."

Zoe waves who she thinks is her roomate over, "Hey Chloe!"

Looks at Zoe with a confused look as she shouts out.
"Chloe? I might not be great at memorizing so many new names, but I'm pretty sure her name's not Chloe..."

Anita smiles. "You know, he turns into a total hardass on the training floor."

"Oh, I know it. And don't get too comfortable, so do I," Ryan smirked.

Anita laughs. "I think we're all pretty serious. Besides, from what I can tell, you've got a pretty tight butt regardless."

Ryan smirked. "And here I never knew you were paying that much attention to it," he teased.

Anita smirks. "I am touchin' ya all over, right now. What dya think about that?"

"I'm thinking that you're a bad girl and am completely encouraging you to continue," Ryan chuckled.

Zoe waves who she thinks is her roomate over, "Hey Chloe!"

Looks at Zoe with a confused look as she shouts out.
"Chloe? I might not be great at memorizing so many new names, but I'm pretty sure her name's not Chloe..."

"It's not? Dang."

Zoe blinks and looks from Jessica to Sara, "Okay, is this another inside joke that I'm missing?"

"Mmmm, if I'm a bad girl, you're a bad boy." Anita finishes her drink.

"That isn't Chloe," Victoria said, smirking. "Educated guess says twin sister."
