After a few rounds, Captain Britain descended to the lake shore with a frustrated sigh.

Isabel, sputtering a little, pulled herself up near Bobby "That sucked."

[Nailah Weaver]

Nailah, upon exiting the portal immidiately spread her wings to glide to the shore, not particularly inclined to be among the celebrating students. It's not that she isn't glad to be home but the sight of 'her' London isn't without some anxiety.

"I know it's not easy," came the disjointed mental voice of the flock. She apparently wasn't content to reconstitute herself at the moment.

[Nailah Weaver]

"I've been in that version of the city longer than I've been in this..." she's suddenly reminded, just staring at the slightly different skyline.

"Still, this is home. You belong here more than there."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Not quite yet..." she sends and it's not quite sure whether she means the former or the later. Regardless, she takes flight again towards the apartments near campus.

[John Hino]

John stepped up to Cap.

"No sign of him?"

[Janice Gilbertson]

"None that I can see," she sighed. "Not a good feeling."

[Sara Stanton]

After taking a dive as she leaves the portal Sara wades out of the water, looking around for Will.

[John Hino]

"He..." he said, pausing as he put together a likely theory, "...must not have been able to stabilize the portal's temporal flux while traveling through it himself."

[Will Stanton]

Will raised his hand. "Over here, Sar."

[Sara Stanton]

Sara trudged over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her head against his shoulder.

"Can we go pick up Robin and go home please? I need to forget that other version of us..."

[Will Stanton]

"Yes...yes, that would be....yes."

[Veronica Freud]

Ronnie had hit the water with a cute little plunk. On the shore her uniform was torn, stained and now wet.

"Maybe the university has some answers." She suggested softly. "I mean, if he came back in the past he'd be there, right?"

[John Hino]

"I hope so."

[Veronica Freud]

"I could... I could wait here to see if he shows up in six hours." Ronnie volunteered.

[John Hino]

"Not happening," he said, "You're wounded, remember?"

[Nathaniel Davis]

Nate faded into view, shifted into half form and wearing some sort of light body armor. "And because in less than 20 minutes, this place will be swarming with enough government agents to watch every square inch of ground." A couple of X-Corp vans pulled up, their logos covered. "So we need to get you all out of here now."

[Veronica Freud]

"Pff." Ronnie almost cracked a smile. Almost. "Compared to the rest of you I'm in mint condition.

"But someone should be here. If I showed up all alone and unsure where or when I was, I'd want to see a familiar face."

[Nick Varkan]

"Fucking spooks..." Nick grumbled.

"He's right. We can't do anything for Renko from a government quarantine room."

[Veronica Freud]

"... I guess you guys are right." Ronnie said, turning away from the shore to follow the rest of the group.

[Daniel Uriel]

"Hey, if our friendly precog isn't worried, we probably shouldn't be either," Daniel pointed out as he landed with Melody near the vans, jerking his head in the direction that Nailah had disappeared.

Melody sighed quietly as she stepped away from Daniel, decidedly disappointed to not fly home...

"I can't wait to shower and pass the fuck out," she said.
