The little spiders swarmed together to form one big one, smaller that she'd been at first, and missing part of a leg, but still hissing defiance at Belilal.

Bobby would find that running through the cracks was a bit like running into a wall as the construct had simply been formed around their actual surroundings. GIdeon led the others further down the hallway as the construct slowly reformed into something simpler and they all exited into an octagonal room filled with mirrors.

The figures with bladed limbs charged at spider-Rachel looking to try and take off another limb while Belial advanced slowly a whip of flame forming in one hand.

"He's trying to slow us down," Gideon said his voice seeming to get further away, but for a moment Lora would see Gideon as he truly was. Lora would feel almost like she was being sucked into the mirror, which was dark, so dark and cold.

Belial swung the whip towards Rachel wrapping it around her and pulling her towards a wall. The two figures leaped at her intent on taking a limb if she stayed down long enough.

"I wonder how many I can take before it stops becoming fun?" Belial asked with a maniacal grin.

A sideways glance pulled Bobby's eye towards another mirror, and he got the sensation that something was moving beneath his skin grabbing for control of his limbs. He could feel it starting to lift one of his arms which shakily formed a fist.

Rachel struggled against the whip, trying to keep his attention focused on her. At the last second, before they started to cut, she exploded again into a crowd of tiny spiders.

She could tell what was coming easily enough; the Gideon she knew and loved had pulled her into her worst nightmare once before. That didn't stop a bit of panic from setting in, as she desperately sprayed jets of acid vapor towards the mirror she perceived herself being pulled into.

The figures attacked in a flurry trying to destroy the smaller spiders as quickly as was possible. The figures were obviously not the most flexible, but were certainly determined.

Belial smiled as a ball of fire formed in his other hand.

Lora could hear a cracking noise, and suddenly she was let go. The image vanishing leaving only a cracked mirror in front of her.

The mirror twisted showing Nick failing to save Bobby as Belial stabbed him in the back of the skull. Belial turned towards Lora and began walking towards her grinning at Nick the whole time.

The image shattered into a million pieces leaving Nick back in reality, but then a hand grabbed his shoulder insects crawled from it onto Nick's shoulder.

"Never were good for much," sneered a voice from the past

Bobby blocked his hand, but the feeling began to crawl up his shoulders towards his neck. He could see a chair, a female shape, a long shadow coming from his feet.

When Bobby screamed, Nick snapped out of it.

"Oh... fuck... this..." he said, eyes flaring red as he sent out a powerful telekinetic sphere of vibration that could hopefully shatter glass.

The telekinetic bubble blew out the mirrors all at once, which left them in a quiet dreary room. The construct was falling apart again this time worse than before because the duel with Rachel was pulling his powers more and towards her.

Gideon put a hand on Bobby's shoulder.

"Bobby, we need to go," Gideon said, "Before the construct recovers, and before he hurts Rachel."

The orb exploded in the wrong corner of the room wrecking that side. Belial's increased focus on their duel allowed him to create more orbs each a different color.

"This...this is fun..." Belial giggled as the two figures cut the web at its base though they were now entangled quite nicely.

Gideon helped his friend to his feet.

"This way," Gideon said, "We should be there, his power is everywhere."

Gideon lead them to a door, which had been otherwise untouched by Nick's little telekinetic storm. Gideon put his hand on the door knob, and looked at the group.

"Could be anything on the other side of this door. We need to hit him fast before he can recover."

"Fast, you said?" And with that, Lora sprayed two reddish liquid jets from her outstretched hands towards the distracted Belial.

A giant black axe blocked the spray of acid before it reached Belial. Who for his part was standing there wearing a helmet which trailed wires leading towards the ceiling.

A massive demon like creature made of shadow stood in front of the group. Belial at the very least had prepared a little bit for intruders.

"That is...he is affecting the physical world with his powers," Gideon said sounding a little flabbergasted.

"No," Belial said eyes focusing on Nick and a surge of electrical pan rushed into Nick, "You tasty little morsels have made it all the way here."

The demon creature swung for Bobby with his open way deflecting Bobby away from Belial at least for the moment.

Gideon's eyes flared an he tried to stun the creature with his own powers, which seemed to only cause it to swing the axe in his general direction. Gideon rolled to the side dodging the axe which embedded into the ground.

"Oh, little brother is here," Belial crooned, "We have a couple important lessons we wish to teach you.
