A Goddess and a Sphinx walk into a bar...

"Oh please no..."

[Samantha McManus]

She laughed.

"I wouldn't do that to you, love."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Thank goodness." she chuckles.

[Samantha McManus]

"I tend to do better with more than just two, aye?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"Now that would certainly make the front page tomorrow." she laughs.

[Samantha McManus]

"So we'll just not and say we did."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Now that's just going too far into the other direction towards 'boring'."

[Samantha McManus]

"Don't think we're drawing enough attention as it is?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"I just think there's better things to draw attention with than merely being here."

[Samantha McManus]

"Merely being here? Is that an editorial comment on my dancing?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"Oh shush, you know exactly what I meant. Though I do believe I can top the attention it draws." she grins. And suddenly pulls Sam closer and into a slight dip, kissing her as she does so.

[Samantha McManus]

"Suppose you can be brave without liquid courage," she grinned as she came back up from the dip.

"But if you wanted to up our game, all you had to do was ask."

And then, it became rather obvious that Sam had been holding back a bit for the sake of her dance partner, as she pulled Nailah into a spin.

[Nailah Weaver]

"I suppose it took a little warming up." she laughs, going with the flow.

[Samantha McManus]

"Key to dancing is to not get too far ahead of your parnter, aye?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"Alright, alright, I was holding you back, I get it." she teases.

[Samantha McManus]

"Let's just say I'm pleasantly surprised."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I should try to do that more often." she smiles.

[Samantha McManus]

"Both a bit hard to surprise, aren't we?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"I guess it's a challenge?"

[Samantha McManus]

"Suppose so, and it certainly helps that both of our ways of cheating are... open to interpretation."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Now that is just begging to be interpreted wrong."

[Samantha McManus]

"Case in point," she laughed.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Exactly!" she laughs. "Though I doubt either of us would go and do something stupid like that." she adds with a soft smile.

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye, we're through fighting for the nonce."

[Nailah Weaver]

"We had maybe one real fight." she chuckles.

[Samantha McManus]

"And that one was unpleasant enough I'd rather not make a habit of it."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Don't I know it. But that's no topic for tonight!" she smiles.

"Aye, not when we're having this much fun."
