Sept 11th - after the salon

[Zoe Walker]

"C'mon, there are advantages to keeping your boyfriend in a cage by your bed!" she laughs, then scrunches her nose up, "Ew, yeah, I could see that as a deal breaker."

[Chloe Grant]

"Just a bit, yeah." Chloe continued "Of course, he changed into a leopard, so that would explain why. But, there aren't that many non-predator shifters. Which sucks. The only other galah shifter I've met is my sister."

[Victoria Valentine]

"On the bright side, Rachel isn't anything resembling long-term competition," she said. "I could try making sure that she doesn't sleep with him, of course, but some battles are meant to be lost."

[Chloe Grant]

"She's likely to sleep with him?" Chloe squeaked despite herself.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Should I take it that that's a 'yes' on the 'try to prevent that' front?"

[Chloe Grant]

"I'd rather that she didn't." Chloe replied "But that is Simon's choice to make." And I won't even shit on her head.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria smiled, then patted Chloe affectionately on the cheek. "Just let me handle it, dear," she said.

"Thank you?" Chloe said, smiling a bit nervously.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria smirked. "Don't worry, there's a good chance that everyone will be somewhat happy with the outcome, at best."

[Chloe Grant]

"Just...I don't want Simon to get creeped out." Chloe said.

[Victoria Valentine]

"I don't see anyone getting creeped out, and any hurt feelings should be immediately mitigated. So please, just relax. I can handle this."

[Chloe Grant]

"Ok." Chloe said "Now, lets do some shopping."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Yes, let's. It's like I have two life-size barbie dolls I can dress up, let's go," Victoria smirked.

[Zoe Walker]

Zoe listens to the exchange with an amused smirk, but shows unusual restraint in keeping her mouth shut.

"Shopping it is! Nothing like it to keep your mind off of relationship angst," and she slips between the other girls, linking arms and elbows with them to move on to the first store.

[Victoria Valentine]

"We need to teach her how to use a taser. Nothing eliminates relationship angst like fear," Victoria said, amused.

[Zoe Walker]

"I've never understood the appeal of the taser. Cattle prods are so much more satisfying."

[Chloe Grant]

"Its easier just to claw people." Chloe said, trying to sound like she was joking. Or pull out their stupid red hair in gigantic beakfuls.

[Zoe Walker]

"Or poop on their heads!" she laughs and steers the pair into the store with some clothing she noticed earlier.

[Chloe Grant]

"That'd be easier to get away with if I wasn't so noticeable." Chloe said, following Zoe into the store.

[Zoe Walker]

"As opposed to the clawing, which is so much more subtle," she retorts, then unlinks arms to browse around. She sorts through a couple of skirts, picking out the one that first caught her eye along with an alternate. "What do you think, close cut mini or pleats?"

[Chloe Grant]

"Pleats, I think." Chloe said, looking around the store. "What do you think of this?" she asked, holding up a blue dress.

[Zoe Walker]

"I like it. Pretty simple cut but with a bit of panache. How does it fit?"

[Chloe Grant]

"I'll have to try it on." Chloe said, heading off towards the fitting room. "What do you think?" she asked, emerging a few minutes later.

[Zoe Walker]

Zoe tilts her head and looks over Chloe, then holds up one finger and spins it to encourage the girl to turn around. "I think it suits you."

[Chloe Grant]

"Do you think Simon will like it?" Chloe asked, turning in a slow circle.

[Zoe Walker]

"Only if he has eyes."

[Chloe Grant]

"I think I'll get it, then." Chloe replied "Do you see anything else?"

[Zoe Walker]

"There's some other nice stuff here but I'm saving money for the boots I wanna pick up. If I can afford a new top too I might snag something."
