Anita goes to get a drink, saying hello to the mutants she doesn't know on the way, a whole menagarie of them are filtering in from the town. It looks like it'll be a good turnout, maybe fifty or sixty total players to begin with.

Jezebelle cashes in for the maximum number of chips, and waves briefly to Victoria, but she seems distracted.

She's wearing her heavily polarized welding goggles, and what amounts to a black leather catsuit with a short leather jacket over her upper body.

Re: Poker - The Demon's Den

Postby Narrator » Sat Mar 14, 2009 6:32 pm

Just as people are settling in, and it looks like the game will begin soon, a last group of players arrives. Four people, all of them look just like Jezebelle. They all have stark white skin, jet black hair streaked with blue, and they're all wearing very dark wrap-around glasses or goggles. Three of them are men, and one is another woman.

One of the men is larger than the rest, and he seems to be in charge. He walks up to speak with The Demon for his group, and The Demon does not seem happy at all. The Demon raises his hand, saying something in protest, and the large pale man grabs the Demon's wrist.

Several of the mutants in the room stand up in concern, including Steve, the tusked mutant who invited all the college kids.

After a few seconds of the pale man staring at the Demon, the Demon raises his other hand, and motions for people to sit back down.

Demon - "It's fine, there's no trouble here. The game will start soon. Everyone find a table."

The bulky pale man smirks, and walks with his crew over to Jezebelle, who leans up to kiss him lightly on the cheek.

Victoria, in the meantime, watched the display with mild disapproval. "Really. Bullying is such a... crude way to get what you want."

Jezebelle and the rest of the pale people spread out, so that there's no more than one of them to a table. In some cases they have to kick someone out of their seat to accomplish this. There's grumbling, but no one seems ready to start a fight.

By now, most people are finding seats, the room is filling up nicely with about 5-8 people to a table.
