Stan grimaced almost in response, as his canines grew out slightly longer.

The blood thirst was growing again, but he was still able to hold back his normal hunger. At least for now.

After Herodias left, Stan slumped back down, thinking of Amanda and his children, and he started weeping, his slightly clawed hands covering his face in despair.

Delilah came into the cell where Stan was being held. Instead of the tray that had been brought in at other times, she was carrying a rabbit.

Stan was looking much more gaunt and sickly then from before, and perhaps a slight bit feral.

"S..Sorry. My daughter already has a pet rabbit," He said, weakly. "Another.. would just be overkill."

"Pets or meat." Delilah said with a smile, stroking the rabbit. She smiled a little "Its the best way to think of all of our food animals. Now, I see you haven't been eating, and you really do need to keep up your strength."

"And the rabbit is supposed to satiate me? With humans to follow? Who do you think I am?" He asked, even as his stomach growled in protest.

"I think that you are very, very close to being one of us. I think that you are hungry and I think that you are going to be a good boy and eat your sodding dinner." Delilah said, kneeling in front of him, so that he could see the rabbit.

Stan paused for a painful while before his hands shot out with surprising speed, taking the skittish rabbit out of Delilah's hands.

Slowly he petted the frightened creature, breathing in smalls gasps as the scent of the small creature assaulted his strengthening sense of smell.

Sooo hungry..

Stan continued petting the rabbit, his strokes slowly getting stronger and less gentle.

"I.. I have eaten rabbit. It was delicious.."

Stan's petting was starting to press hard against the rabbit, prompting it to attempt to scramble away.

After waiting a few moments after Delilah left, Stan relaxed, releasing the rabbit to the floor where it perked up, getting on it's hind legs and looking around it's new surroundings.

"I don't.. I don't know how much time either of us have. But we have a little while longer, at least."

Stan managed a weak smile, even as he watched the bunny scamper around the walls.
