Infiltration Team Insertion Point - Hackney Borough

[Rick Ferguson]

"Only the old-fashioned way. We can carry him somewhere else." He then looked over at Mark. "There was another human with him, sir. Someone who wanted to get hired on by him. He's pretty banged-up, and I'm certain he didn't see anything. Should we bring him with us?"

[Niles Radcliff]

"Not sure how, mostly he just looks beat up from the outside, but I've no idea about internal injures."

[Domanic Taylor]

"If you think he's not critical, leave him. When the police arrive, they'll fix him up."

[Rick Ferguson]

"Very well, sir. Oh, and please send those cars or something back to extract us, as well. He told Lumis their current location, just in case."Tornado out."

"Okay, leave that guy. We're gonna need to take Finn and get out of here."

[Niles Radcliff]

"Carrying somebody around is going to be noticeable, and I assume we aren't waiting here to be picked up, I'll try to think of something"

Niles exits the building and is back in the alley, still trying to come up with a plan, unfortunately he had nothing so far.

[Merle McClintock]

"Meatshield? What's that mean? And do you have to call me it while I'm in the room, you The Crow looking mf'er?"

Merle is able to stand on the leg witihn a few minutes. The wound is painful, but he plays it off.

"Why don't we wrap him in a rug, then pretend we're carrying a rug? Are you OK with that Mark? We did just save your ass."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria glared at Merle as she dressed the wound. "I believe I said to shut up," she said, glaring at him as she put very deliberate and unnecessary pressure on the wound as she cleaned it.

(the other two are unconscious, Merle)

[Merle McClintock]

Merle groans and files Victoria's cruelty in his mental rolodex. Someone's gonna here about that one...fucking playing with a wound, damnit.

[Victoria Valentine]

Once Merle stopped moving around, Victoria easily got his wound cleaned and bandaged, and seemed to do a fairly quality job of it, too. "There. Now stay off of it until our rides get here," she said, rolling her eyes as she got up.

[Narrator]

The sharp eared among the team can hear police sirens in the distance.

[Merle McClintock]

"We got sirens on the way. I don't want to be questioned, or they'll figure out quick we all go to the same school and know eachother."

He looks toward a window. "If someone can carry me out, I say we take a taxi and split up. Carry the guys out and say they passed out drunk. Call campus security for a ride then put'em in the backseat."

[Niles Radcliff]

"I think, the handcuffs on Finn will be too noticible, besides I think I've got something that will work."

Niles had made a hand truck with a large rubbermaid type container on it

"Someone help me get him inside and get this thing down the stairs."

Niles checks Finn to make sure he doesn't have any more weapons hidden on him, before trying to place him inside the container.

[Narrator]

Finn has one more knife on his person, and a Derringer in his boot.

He'll fit in the container, not comfortably, but that's not a priority at the moment.

[Rick Ferguson]

"Good thinking." Rick helped Niles in stowing Finn in the box. "Okay, let's find some way out of here. Fast."

[Merle McClintock]

"Can you make some crutches? Maybe a ramp so I could slide down the stairs and a pillow to land on?"

He smiles. Niles had been positively USEFUL. That's my man. "Thanks Niles."

[Niles Radcliff]

"Not sure I have enough material left for even the crutches, I can only have so much at once, but I can see what I can do."

"Oh and forget about the pillow, unless you want to wait around while I make each and every strand off the fluff, then weave them together, then place them in a bag of some kind, I'd have to make that too."

Niles manages to make some crutches but he has used up about all the material he has.

[Narrator]

Once back in the alley, hauling the heavy container full of badguy, the team has several choices. They can exit the alley on either end, which will take them back to the sidewalk immediately. The nearby streets aren't terribly busy, but there will be pedestrians and cars there. If the disguise holds, they should be more or less fine.

Otherwise, they can go over (or through) a fence into another alley perpendicular to this one, which looks like it goes to some kind of junkyard or appliance graveyard or the like.

[Zoe Walker]

Zoe was trying to find another way in to back up the team and links up with the others in the alleyway. She leans down and pours her power onto the bottom of the heavy container to make it easier to move.

"I saw a break in the fence over there, and I think we can make it to the gate without too much trouble. If we get picked up there, it'll look like the car came to do business in the junkyard."

[Harold Marks]

"If speed is an issue, I can get him in a TK grip and fly him back to the school. It'll look weird, but it'd be quick."

[Zoe Walker]

"That works too. Less subtle but a lot faster," she nods.

[Harold Marks]

"Probably should ask the boss. And see where they want him delivered at the school."

[Merle McClintock]

"I don't want to be going through a scrapyard on protoplasmic crutches. No offense. It's your call, Captain Rick."

[Rick Ferguson]

Rick looks at Merle and nods to Harold. "Take Merle away. But try to be quick about it. You'll be seen, but maybe if you go up high enough, you probably can't be identified. Everyone else, into the junkyard. I'll go ahead and call off the medical help." Rick went ahead and jumped the fence, activating his comm device.

"Lumis, don't worry about any paramedics. We're sending Merle your way. There's only going to be five of us that need extraction, plus Mr. Finn."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Tornado this is Network. We read you. Please give us a location for extraction."

[Rick Ferguson]

Rick goes ahead and gives her the location, meanwhile helping the others over the fence.

[Narrator]

Network assures Rick that a van is on the way.

[Rick Ferguson]

"Great." Once everyone, cargo included, was up and over, Rick lead them away from the fence, and hopefully somewhat out of the suspicion of any approaching police.

[Narrator]

The police arrive a few minutes ahead of the van, but they spend a lot of time blocking off the alley, searching the shop and the storage area, and calling for backup when they find Finn's stash of guns.

The discreet white van that shows up to pick up the team in the junkyard goes unnoticed, and carries them back to the U.
