[Alex Campion]

"Which is?"

[Teri Napliotis]

"A catalyst. A template. People are quick to point out that we couldn't dominate or master even one mind, much less several and they are right. Well, we propably could dominate some people, but that has never been our intent. People are simply too occupied with assuming we want personal gain to notice the truth. We have come to accept that we are no single mind, so why do people assume we'd want what individuals would? We want to grow. Flourish. Spread. We want more."

[Alex Campion]

"How very self-serving of the lot of you," he mused, unimpressed by her presentation.

[Teri Napliotis]

"What did you expect? A fabricated story about we just want the best for the world?" she laughs. "We want what every creature craves. Proliferation. And yet you will find our community preferrable to the pale shadow of company you all praise so much."

[Ayami Morita]

A hooded figure stepped out of the darkness to one side.

"Proliferation, Alex. But we're not vain; it's better for everyone. We're much happier like this...we're never alone..." she said, walking around behind Alex.

[Alex Campion]

"That voice... congratulations on convincing the empty-headed rainbow. However did you accomplish that?" he asked, words dripping with sarcasm.

"Now unless you two want to breath in enough toxic spores to choke an elephant, I suggest you let me walk away."

[Teri Napliotis]

"We're not trying to threaten you, you can..."

[Ayami Morita]

"...leave whenever..."

[Teri Napliotis]

"...you want." the two answer without skipping a beat between words. "We didn't lie when we said we wouldn't force you. We just thought you might want to see what we're talking about."

[Ayami Morita]

The hooded figure walked around to stand next to Teri. "Peace and harmony," she said with what sounded like a smirk, wrapping an arm around Teri.

[Alex Campion]

"Frankly I'd rather be miserable than be... like that shell of a girl."

He turned to leave.

"Until next time Teri."

[Teri Napliotis]

"Good-bye." She watches Alex leave the alley.

"We don't think he saw what we wanted him to see."

[Ayami Morita]

"He will. He knows where to find us when he changes his mind."
