Sept 25th: Early Morning

[Zachary Flint]

He was surprised how long their 'date' had lasted. It was only a few minutes after midnight and Kelly flew them up to a rooftop. Once Kelly landed he smiled and let out a sigh of relief, partly due to not being in the air anymore. It was still somewhat scary but he enjoyed it. Those worries were overran by the view of the sky.

"Amazing. Views like this make you want to be even closer to the stars sometimes huh?"

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly nodded and went sit on the edge of the building. He dangled his legs over this side and looked up into the, now morning, sky. His eyes were red and he even looked tired. He gave a long yawn and then patted the the edge of the building as if he wanted Zach to sit as well.

[Zachary Flint]

"You must be joking right?" He asked Kelly. He walked over to the edge but sat a bit further back but still beside Kelly, sitting cross-legged. He folded his arms in his lap. "You know, we can head back already if you're tired. We spent a lot of time together as it is."

Kelly reached around and grabbed Zach to bring him closer. The way Zach was sitting the grab and drag was most likely not comfortable. "No, I do not want you to come to your senses..." He knew he could catch Zach if he feel over...which wasn't going to happen

[Zachary Flint]

The shift Zach adapted to quickly, just moving closer to Kelly and sitting on the edge now to avoid the uncomfortable position. He leaned into Kelly and held onto him, it rather obvious that he wasn't too fond of the heights, at least, not like this.

"Come to my senses..? What do you mean?"

[Kelly St Luc]

"Don't worry. You will come to them and see the light." He turned to Zach's face and covered his mouth with his hand. "No talking. Let's just enjoy the sky."

He gave Zach a smirk, "Don't worry about the height. I have you now."

[Zachary Flint]

He blinked when the hand covered his mouth. He huffed and reached up to pull it away. "No. Something is bothering you and I want to know what it is. If you're going to be with me, I expect you to tell me what's on your mind. Besides, you're a worry wart. I'd prefer to squash any painful doubts or feelings that are gonna make you sit and think about them forever early.

[Kelly St Luc]

"I don't," Kelly looked down at the ground so far away, "Everyone that I have ever spent time with has left me. I don't want a relationship highway of exs." Kelly's hand went back to its side as the other held on to Zach.

"Anyway, I hope you enjoyed dinner with me," he tried to change the subject.

[Zachary Flint]

"That again is it?" He said softly. He wasn't expecting the emotional baggage from all of Kelly's exes to really effect theirs, than again this may be one of the sole reasons Kelly was with him. He thought this over carefully and decided to ignore the more logical responses.

"There has yet to be a time I haven't enjoyed spending with you. I don't believe there will be one anytime soon." He said. "Either way, I guess I will just have to prove to you I don't plan on leaving that easily. If you just keep being you, then I'm positive I won't have any reason to run off anywhere."

He remained silent and just held tightly on to Zach.

[Zachary Flint]

A small part of Zach wondered how good of an idea it was for choosing someone so emotional to be with after years of no relationship was a good idea or not. Trial by fire it seems. He reached down and pulled Kelly's arm around him tighter. He looked up at him, trying to find something else to say but he was horrible at situations like this. His gaze lowered, defeated and he just looked out into the sky.

[Kelly St Luc]

When Zach looked away he just leant his head on Zach still enjoying the moment. Kelly started to lightly hum a song that his grandmother had taught him when he was a child. It was rather soothing and he had a rather good singing voice although it was still nothing grand. After a few versus he yawned and then continued.

[Zachary Flint]

A flash of white came over his eyes then dissipated. Suddenly, Zach started humming along with Kelly, obvious, having used his powers briefly to find the song. It's almost like he had heard it over and over again himself. In a way, this was true.

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly stopped humming and looked at Zach surprised, "I hope we are not related..." He was unsure how Zach knew this song. Staring at Zach greatly confused by his humming he lightly rubbed his head as if he was trying to figure it out.

[Zachary Flint]

He laughed. "No! Of course not. I heard it when I was using my power. Thought I'd hum it along with you, if that's alright?" He asked before leaned up and giving Kelly a kiss on the cheek.

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly gave a sigh of relief and blushed by Zach's affection. "It is alright I just had a strange moment there." He gave an awkward laugh until it was silent again.

A few moments later he started to hum again.

[Zachary Flint]

It was weird for Kelly to be so quiet and it was starting to alarm him again. It could of been that he was just tired. He patted Kelly on the small of his back. "Come on. Lets head back. You probably need rest."

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly was startled at hearing Zach's voice as if he was already falling asleep. "Oh yes. Sleep would be nice." He stood up slowly and extened a clawed hand to assist Zach up as well.

[Zachary Flint]

He took Kelly's hand and pulled himself up. "Should of realized earlier." Once he was standing he peered over the edge then looked at Kelly. "Ready to go when you are."

[Kelly St Luc]

He lightly slapped his face to wake him up a bit, "Okay I'm all good!" He yawned one again and then quickly squatted and rushed to lift Zach up. A moment later they were back in the air.

"Zach can you rub my eyes for me?"

[Zachary Flint]

That was an awkward request. He was starting to get worried and his trust in this flying situation started to to become shaky once again. "Sure.." He lifted his hands and started rubbing Kelly's eyes gently.

[Kelly St Luc]

The flight remained steady as Zach rubbed Kelly's eyes. "Merci," he blinked a few times to wet his eyes as they flew back to the campus.

Kelly lightly released his grib a bit to scare Zach but then held on tighter coming to his senses that he would most likely not find that as amusing as he would.

[Zachary Flint]

Zach immediately latched onto Kelly when he felt hold lessen. His body froze and it seemed like his heart may of stopped from shock. His position resembled one of some cartoon cat that got the shit scared out of it and it's fur was standing on end.

Kelly couldn't help but laugh a bit, "Don't worry Zach. I maybe tired but I would never let you go. I'm sorry to have frightened you." He held Zach just a bit tighter to prove that he actually did have a grip on him.

[Zachary Flint]

"T-that was not funny!" He responded to the laugh. He huffed and just pressed his head into the side of Kelly's neck, closing his eyes. His body still rigid from the scare. "...Mean." He said playfully before giving and soft but rather nervous chuckle.

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly still smiled at the situation, "I promise not to do it again." Should I do it again? Nah, that would be a horrible idea... He responded back playfully and rolled his eyes, "Mean? Of course I am."

[Zachary Flint]

"Epitome of it for sure." He said in a sarcastic tone. He finally started to relax though and held onto Kelly comfortably. "So..." He rethought saying what he was about to several times but just gave in. "You should come stay at my place. It'll just be us. My roommate have never shown up. I'm certain he's dropped out."

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly wondered what Zach meant about the epitome but just shrugged it off. "Sure, I don't think I'll be able to fully make it back to my room...I'm falling asleep." Stating the obvious was a usual for Kelly.

[Zachary Flint]

"Good then I don't need to make some excuse then. I just want to be with you longer.." He said, surprised he had no problem admitting that. It made him blush slightly but he tightened his arms around Kelly, helping emphasize what he just said.

They were close to the dorm building. "I would love to spend more time with you too Zach. You should never have to make an excuse to be with someone you care for..."
