Jubilee was sitting on the couch, her feet up, sipping a cool drink, and trying to read a book.

Cassiel came back from checking on Lora, and stopped outside the door. He took a deep breath, let it out, and then opened the door, working carefully through his 'check your problems outside' routine. His wife, after all, didn't need to deal with his problems, she had enough to deal with. "And now for the best part of my day," he said with a smile, walking over and leaning over to give her a kiss.

[Jubilation Lee]

"Boring as fuck." Jubilee said "They've got everyone who is 'high risk' quarantined until they're sure there aren't any weird diseases floating around. Makes sense, and pisses me off."

[Michael Asters]

"Poor thing," he said, settling down in a chair next to the table and, without preamble, starting to rub one of her feet. "Just hang in there, it won't be too long now."

[Jubilation Lee]

"Three more months." she groused, then poked her stomach "Hey, my bladder is not a trampoline."

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel smirked. "Still not wanting me to make them go to sleep?" he asked, rubbing along the edge of her foot where she liked it best.

[Jubilation Lee]

"I'm worried that it'll mess with their development." Jubilee said "Besides, he stopped. He knows better than to piss me off too much."

[Michael Asters]

"I've told you before, it doesn't work that way, but it's your bladder and other internal organs," he mused, moving on to the other foot. "So are you still against us calling one of the seers I know back on Genosha to ask what the names are going to be?" he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"I thought we'd decided to just name them Thing One and Thing Two." Jubilee said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

[Michael Asters]

"I look really lousy in hats, though," he smirked back at her.

[Jubilation Lee]

"You're the fish. Duh"

[Michael Asters]

"Well, I don't know where you're going to find a pot big enough, but if you can, I guess that works," he said, considering it.

[Jubilation Lee]

Jubilee giggled "I'm glad you see the wisdom of my naming scheme."

[Michael Asters]

"Well, at the very least, if we're calling them 'Thing' for short, it won't matter if we mix up which one is which..."

[Jubilation Lee]

"They shouldn't look all that alike." Jubilee said "Since they are different sexes."

[Michael Asters]

"And it could be extremely easy. Like 'the one with four arms is Thing 1.'"

[Jubilation Lee]

Jubilee laughed "Please, I do not want a child who can shape shift that early."

[Michael Asters]

"Or maybe they'll just be born being able to talk and can tell us who they are," he suggested with a wider grin, getting into his stride.

[Jubilation Lee]

"As long as they call me "Mommy' and not 'Big Milk Thing', I'd be ok with that." Jubilee said, after a moment's consideration.

[Michael Asters]

"Does that mean I can't call you that?" he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"I suppose so." Jubilee said with a theatrical sigh "Its all I'll be good for, I suppose."

[Michael Asters]

"Yup, noooooo other uses for you," he said with a smile, moving up to the couch and giving her a kiss that put his words to lie.

[Jubilation Lee]

"And thank you for reminding me how I got into this mess in the first place." Jubilee teased.

[Michael Asters]

"Like you don't think about that on a regular basis," he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"Oh, I totally do." she said "Every time I see you...." she gave him a slow, deliberate kiss.

[Michael Asters]

That's my girl, he thought to her as he kissed her back, helping her shift closer so he could slip his arms around her.

[Jubilation Lee]

Love you. she thought Love our babies. Enough to make this all worthwhile.

[Michael Asters]

I'll make sure it is, he promised, drawing her closer. Sure, he cheated with his telekinesis to do it, but who was going to notice in the moment?

[Jubilation Lee]

You better, or I'll have my minions kick your ass.

[Michael Asters]

Oh come on... one of them's likely to take my side.

[Jubilation Lee]

I have the boobs. Jubilee pointed out.

Thanks for reminding me, I knew there was something you were distracting me from doing...

Poopy head. Jubilee said, grabbing his hand.

Silly girl... you know I don't need to actually use my hands...

Maybe I like holding your hands Jubilee thought, amused.

[Michael Asters]

Then I guess it's a good thing I don't need them, he thought, sliding his fingers between hers.
