I8DT - Walking the Maze (Open)

Alexander had picked as non-busy a time as he could to walk the halls, trying to get a feel for where the classrooms were and what obstacles might present themselves beyond other students. He stopped at one hallway intersection and seemed to be carefully considering where to go next.

"Just getting a feel for things," he said, turning his face in the direction of the sound. "The psychology department is down this way, correct?" He pointed down one of the hallways, or sort of down one of the hallways.

He walked to catch up, following the sound of her footsteps somewhat uncertainly as he swept with his cane a little. "My name's Alexander."

"You just seemed... curt. " He was so busy walking on eggshells verbally that his actual walking ended up banging his shin into an obstruction in the hallway. "Umph... Okay... need to remember that that's there."
