Issue 1 Downtime

Rob sat at the bar a bit early, having a beer and waiting for Aria.

The girl bugged him. She had secrets. Rob didn't like secrets.

He took a sip of his beer, looking thoughtful.

"Hey, cutie." Aria said, as she popped into existence behind him.

"Good to see you again," Rob says with a grin, "Care for a drink? Or did you have other plans?"

"Beer sounds awesome."

"Then pull up a seat. Mac! Beer for the lady," Rob says, "Nice trick with the teleportation by the way."

"Thanks." Aria said, grinning under her cowl.

Rob shrugs, "Mutant power or just your preferred means of transportation?"

"Yes!"

Rob smirks, "Very fun."

"So. Typical date small talk," Rob says, handing Aria a beer, "Where are you from?"

"Nowhere, really." Aria said "I've been moving around quite a bit."

"Why settle down here then? Seems like moving around would be a lot more interesting," Rob says.

"I'm just passing through, but I'm going to be sticking around for a bit." Aria replied "It seemed like a nice place to spend summer vacation."

"I've never been a fan of London, but the school itself is fairly interesting," Rob agrees.

"You don't like London?" Aria asked "Why is that, do you think?"

"A little grey for my tastes," Rob says, "I prefer the sun."

"Other then the weather, it's not a bad town though."

"Are you planning on leaving once you graduate? Or just finding some way of making the sun shine here?"

"Haven't decided yet," Rob says, "I imagine bringing more sunlight to the area would make a lot of environmentalists angry. So, that's obviously a point in it's favor."

"What about you. Where are you heading after summer vacation?"

"I haven't decided yet." Aria said "I'm thinking about visiting Thera, but I haven't been to Alexandria in quite a while."

"That's a tough one," Rob says, "But if you do end up in Alexandria, bring me back something from the library. It's amazing."
