Sean was sketching some of the other people drinking at the XUB. A near empty glass was next to him.

Jennifer walked by, carrying a glass of something clear. She stopped when she saw Sean sketching and moved to glance at his paper, not being particularly stealthy about it.

Sean was at that moment drawing the bar tender Mac. He'd sketched the man in various poses, serving, vleaning glasses, etc. They were good, but still looked somewhat unpolished.

"You've got a good eye," Jennifer remarked, moving to get a better look.

"Hmm? Oh, thanks," Sean said taking a moment to digest what Jennifer had said, "Still not sure I've got the hang of drawing people again yet. The hands are giving me problems."

Sean had stopped drawing an flipped to a different page. This one a student blowing bubbles, a half drunk beer in front of her. The hands were as he'd said rather rough.

"Hands are hard no matter the art. So many small muscles and points of articulation," Jennifer said, studying the hands closely.

It was the location of those points of articulation thatnhe was seeming ton have problems with, so they had been more roughly sketched than other parts.

"Yeah, I'm bit out of practice when it comes to human anatomy. Probably doesn't help that I'm trying to get knuckle placement from all the way over here," Sean smiled.

"I was never any good at sculpture, or pottery. Ended up sticking to charcoal and pencils," Sean said, "I've never met anybody who worked ice though."

Jennifer waived her hand at her glass and the water slid up and out of the glass, forming into a reasonable facsimile of a female figure and walking around the glass before sliding back into it, returning to its watery state. "I cheat," Jennifer said with a smile.
