In the evening, John sat in a recliner reading a book with a dragon on the cover.

Ayami walked in and, to her credit, only gasped a little when she saw the giant lizard-man in the chair.

John looked over to her with a curious gaze.

Her own curiosity piqued, Ayami walks over to him.

"Are..are you a student here?"

He nodded, "Yes, I am. You must be new. I'm John."

"I'm sorry for my surprise; but I didn't think kaiju really existed."

"No no, I'm not a Kaiju. Just a mutant."

Ayami heartly lauged back. "Oh! Oh, of course you're not. Kajiu are much bigger, ne?"

"I can tell from you're accent you're Japanese. Small world. My father is originally from Tokyo."
