As the last team of the day makes it in, probably pretty tired already, Lumis welcomes them into the Danger Room.

Beaming, Byrna entered the Danger room.

She was indeed a little tired, but still very energetic.

Marcus entered the room shortly after Bear. He was more than ready to get going.

"Hey Bear. Heh, someone I always wanted to work with."

Smiling, Bear gave Marcus a little hug.

"Me too. We'll need to come up with something together, for sure!"

"I kinda just picture the both of us being like a catapult." He smirked, returning the hug. "It looks like we have a little time. How have you been anyway?"

"I've been wonderful! I'll need to tell you everything sometime."

Bear divided her attention between Marcus and Lumis, as they waited for the others to return from the jog.

((off for a while))

((Sorry, was waiting for the redcap incident to resolve))

Con entered the Danger Room, having been delayed slightly by having to retrieve his coat.

"Hey there Captain. How's it going?"

"I could use a drink honestly." Con mused, although he was taking procedings in good humor.

Team 6 didn't get a warning or briefing. Just a large explosion that tore open the roof of the Danger Room sending up a cloud of smoke that made it hard for anyone to see. A warning klaxon went off, signifying that the school was under attack.

"I'm right with you Conduit." He said with a sigh. He pulled the telescoping staff from his side, twirling it some and getting ready. He stepped out in front of Bear and looked around. He'd try to keep whatever coming at them as far from her as possible.

Harold comes into the Danger Room just in time to hear the klaxon. "Just what I get for running late." he muttered, getting himself in the air to see if he could see over the smoke.

Outside the Danger Room, the people in the air can see several people lying on the ground hopefully just injured and unconscious. It appears that several locations were hit simultaneously, with several large craters in the grounds but there's no sign of their attackers.

Bear reached into her satchel, placing her communicator in her ear.

"Conduit, Marks? What's the situation? I can't see anything right now.."

Carefully, Bear made her way outside with Marcus, trying to get a visual herself.

"Got multiple impacts, multiple casualties. No idea what's about to come out of those craters, but it's probably not good."

Marcus followed after her, putting his communicator on as well. "No briefing or nothing either. Sounds like we're under attack then. We may need to help with evacuating."

"Okay.. keep your senses up. Amp, lets check on the fallen. Hopefully, the craters are just from impact..."

Perring out of the smoke, Bear looked around for a moment, getting the lay of the land before using cover to reach the closest fallen person.

Marcus nodded and let Bear take lead. They had no idea what was going on yet so he thought it'd be best to stick together until then. He kept an eye on the craters and the injured people that were closer to their position. Just in case they all did need aid, he'd rush over and start trying to move them to some place safe.

All of the injured were unconscious, their injuries ranging from minor to fairly serious. There didn't appear to be any present threats and the craters looked to be from some sort of energy based weapon impact with the grounds.

Harold maintained his aerial watch. "If there's no objections, I'm going to start getting the injured out of here, before we get hit with another wave."

"Okay.. Let's get to it. Marks, focus on the most injured with your TK. Conduit, do what you think is best right now. Just hurry- those craters look like some sort of energy bombardment that could start up again. Get as many as you can to cover."

With that, Bear helped Marcus with an injured person before getting under the shoulder of another and moving for the closest cover, where she could begin administering first aid.

Harold begins the process of getting the most grievously injured into a gentle TK grip and moving them back towards North Tower. "Basic triage, just like dad said. Most injured gets highest priority." he says to himself as he continues combing the area for badly hurt survivors.

Con didn't see much, aside from all the injured and property destruction things looked pretty quiet.

The most injured people appeared to be near or in the craters on the grounds, a few of the people seemed to be starting to stir a little bit.

Once back under cover, Bear quickly looked over her charge to see if any first aid was required, before heading out to move more people out of harm's way.

Marcus was already heading off into the field to snag people who were close by and quickly but carefully brought them back over to the area where Bear was.

"I'm really hoping these aren't Sentinels." He said to Bear after setting one of the injured down beside her then moving off for another.

"Somehow I doubt Sentinels would give us time to get the wounded out of the way." Harold said, dropping another injured student off at the medic, before heading back out for more.

"For the Empire!" the kid Bear is treating shouts, his skin taking on a dark shade of green as he attempts to choke her with his extremely flexible limbs.

Harold and Marcus have similar trouble as they're patients suddenly begin trying to grapple them into submission as well.

Meanwhile, Constantine can spot a man rising to his feet from inside the center of a crater, a twisted smile on his face.

Marcus was just about to pick up another injured person but jumped back when he noticed the guy's skin tone change. He grabbed his staff, it telescoping out to it's 6 foot length.

"Uh..Conduit. Take these guys out? Yes or no?" He asked, not sure if these were clones or just innocent people. He looked back towards the others, seeing if they were having any similair problems. "Closer! Watch out!" He yelled, moving back in her direction but keeping a close eye on the guy in front of him.

Bear quickly flipped away, putting distance between her and her attacker. Her hand went to her head, keying her communicator.

"Skrulls.. they're Skrulls!"

Reaching into her satchel, she started rifling for something to throw.

The Skrull in front of Bear lunged towards her, thrusting forward an arm that had twisted itself into the form of a sharp looking blade.

Marcus had problems of his own as two Skrulls flanked him, circling him carefully.

The Skrull in Harold's telekinetic hold struggled fiercely, applying large amounts of pressure on his powered grip with what seemed to be a ridiculous amount of strength.

Meanwhile, the Skrull in the center of the crater began shouting in an amplified voice, "Give up, mutated One Fleshes! Your doom was assured the moment the Skrull Armada choose to conquer this scumpit of a world!"

Bear didn't waste any time- pulling out a pop ball, she hurls it towards the chest and face of her attacker while simultaneously cartwheeling out of the way, to get out of the range of the explosion.

Great, a comedian. Con thought has he blasted the Skrull in the crater before looping around to give Marcus cover fire.

Marcus's eyes shifted back and forth between the two Skrulls, seeing which one would attempt something first. His position altered some, gradually moving back towards the Skrull closer behind him. Once he felt he was in range his body took on a red glow. He turned around quickly, trying to catch the Skrull behind him off guard, as he whipped the staff in a wide arc, attemping to slam it across the side of the Skrull's head with a bit of added force from his power.

The one Harold throws hits the ground hard in a crouch before pulling some sort of weapon and firing yellow bolts of energy at the boy.

The Skrull Bear was facing let out a surprised cry as the explosives threw him to the ground, but slowly got back to his feet, shifting into something that looked somewhat like a giant bipedal lobster-man. It let out a roar and charged towards Bear, swinging a razor sharp claw at her head.

Con's blast splashed harmlessly over some sort of field surrounding the Skrull in the crater, with a smirk it waved it's hand towards Con and two bright beams of energy coming from somewhere above blasted their way towards the airborne boy.

The staff hit one of the Skrulls, knocking it towards the ground as the other rushed in to charge Marcus, swinging it's fists at him that were currently in the shape of large hammers.
