"There's a little trick you can do against precognitives using telepathy. You can try to figure out what they expect you to do, and correct for it. If you keep shifting the outcome fast enough, they get the most adorable expression on their faces."

"That, I'm afraid, is something I don't think I can learn to do," he chuckled.

"Perhaps not. It really does rely on bucking their predictive ability."
