"Claire," Claire says.

[Gaius Montgomery]

"A pleasure to meet you, Claire," he smiled.

Claire sighs, "Look. I'm just going to be up front here. You seem like a nice guy, but I'm not interested in dating right now. We can be friends but anything else isn't happening."

"If I've misread the situation, I apologize," Claire says, "But I don't want to lead anyone on or put up with any flirting right now, alright?"

[Gaius Montgomery]

"Can't blame a guy for trying," he said with a light chuckle, "Friends is fine by me."

[Claire McKenna]

"Alright then," Claire says, "Glad we cleared that up."

[Gaius Montgomery]

"Saves me from embarrassing myself."

[Claire McKenna]

"That's why I throw it out there," Claire says.

[Gaius Montgomery]

"That's very considerate of you."

[Claire McKenna]

"Yeah, I'm a well of compassion and sympathy," Claire says.

[Gaius Montgomery]

"In the same way I'm a beacon of propriety I'm guessing," he smirked.

"Probably exactly like that, actually," Claire says.

"Good. I prefer friends who tell things how they are."

[Claire McKenna]

"You need to shave. The stubble makes you look like you haven't taken a shower this week," Claire says with a smirk.

[Gaius Montgomery]

"No on the perma-stubble hmm?"

[Claire McKenna]

"Guy's with perma stubble just look like guys that can't grow a beard."

[Gaius Montgomery]

"I could so."

[Claire McKenna]

"Prove it."
