X-Team Lobby: Late Team Signups

In the lobby of the X-Team building is a box on the wall with plenty of the 5 page signup forms, and pens in a jar. Anyone wanting to sign up merely has to fill out the somewhat extensive form, and drop it in the document slot next to the forms.

Zero stops by, glancing through the forms quickly before filling them out and dropping them in the box.

Marcus had told Kelly something about the sign up sheet and went searching for it. Finally after a few hours he stopped and asked someone for directions, "Hey, my name is Kelly. I'm new here. Can you tell me where to sign up for the X-men is?" He directed his sentence towards Zero.

"Sure," Zero says, blatantly sizing Kelly up with a smile, "It's right over there. There's a box on the wall for the applications."

"I'm Zero, by the way."

"Oh thank you!" Kelly rushed over and attempted to hold a pen to write his name. "Dang it...why must there always be something," he said out loud to vent his fustrations.

"Nothing really. Just I have horrible writing." Kelly turned around and showed his claws. "I hope they can read my first grade writing style."

"Poor baby," Zero says with a grin, "Here, I haven't done my good deed for the month. I'll fill them out for you."

Zero takes the application and pen from Kelly.

"Name?"

"Kelly St Luc. I'm eighteen, I enjoy long walks on the beach and spring break!" Kelly laughed at his own joke.

"Seriously though, that is my name and age. I'm from Canada."

BB comes up behind the boys, a little shy. "Sorry, just want to grab an application." She reaches around and grabs one. She looks around uncertainly, wondering if she should fill it out in her dorm room or stay here to do it.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. Otherwise, they wouldn't have the applications up."

She pulls a pen out of her purse and finds another flat surface to write on.

"Nice to meet you BB. I'm Kelly. Hey maybe we'll be on the same team some day!"

He turned back to Zero, "Yeah, I'm not ever really funny unless I don't try to be. Anyway, codename is...Uh I don't have on yet." Kelly told her his room number but was focused on picking a codename. "Wow, I don't really need one do I? I mean I can be spotted in a crowd easily already."

Zoe makes her way into the lobby en route to the Danger Rooms. When she spots the little grouping of students she heads over to greet them and see if they need any help. "Hey all, how's it going?"

Kelly broke his thought pattern on a code name to answer the new person to the group, "Pretty good here. How about yourself? Are you here to sign up for the X-men too?"

"Been there, done that, optioned the movie rights," she grins impishly, "I'm Zoe, just came back from our first mission. They're serious about that whole 'being sent into action quickly' schtick, in case you're curious."

"Alright, just sign these and you'll be good," Zero says, handing him the waivers.

"Seraph?" At first Kelly didn't recognize the name, "Did you mean Ryan?" Kelly held the papers and skimmed through them placing them on a falt surface sothat he could write on them. He picked up a pen and held it akwardly and signed his name on the indacted lines. His signature look like right hander attempting to use his left. "Thanks again Zero."

"It comes in handy sometimes. I sure don't complain about doing the dishes anymore," she laughs, "You guys like to go out clubbing at all? We came across one cool place called Glow, might make it a regular spot. I still wanna keep checking out new places though."
