Sept 2nd: Late Breakfast

[John Hino]

"Thank you. A shame not everyone digs the Godzilla look."

[Marcus Kingston]

"All people that don't suck. Enough said."

[John Hino]

"Sadly, I can not spit atomic fire."

[Anita Fernandez]

"It would be SO awesome if ya could. Maybe you'll get a secondary mutation."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Heh. Maybe so. Or do something more awesome than the fire."

[John Hino]

"Darkness is more likely."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Huh? Darkness?"

[John Hino]

"I've been told my defensive skin is made primarily of something called Darkforce."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Darkforce..? Is that like some sort of other-worldly energy or something?"

[John Hino]

"Supposedly."

[Marcus Kingston]

"What properties does it have? Light absorption?"

[John Hino]

"It's properties have yet to be fully explored, however in my case it absorbs kinetic energy applied to it."

[Marcus Kingston]

"And the Darkforce itself is energy right? Heh, means I can buff you up too."

[John Hino]

"What exactly is your power?"

[Marcus Kingston]

"I have the ability to increase the size of anything I touch. I also have the ability to amplify the energy people exert, which here, works through their powers. So..I'm just a super charger of different things."

[John Hino]

"Very interesting..."

[Marcus Kingston]

He picked up his fork and twirled it around in his fingers, making it gradually grow as it did so. "Yeah..took some time getting used to how to work with it. I could just make you grow larger too."

He stopped twirling the fork then sat it down, it now five times it's size and sitting beside his tray.

[John Hino]

"No thanks. I look enough like Godzilla as it is," he smirked.

[Marcus Kingston]

"Aw. It'd be fun. Then I could make a giant moth and you guys could duke it out in middle of London. In any case, who knows when the situation may come where being much larger will come in handy. At the very least, it'd make you pretty strong." He shrugged.

[John Hino]

"It may be something to test out then."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Might as well. Maybe we'll even end up on the same teams!"

[John Hino]

"I haven't decided yet if I'm signing up, but I probably will."

[Marcus Kingston]

"I hope you do. It sounds like your power would be perfect for it."

[John Hino]

"It's not an issue of having the desire. I merely wish to find a way do it without upsetting my father." It was clear that honoring his father was important to him.

[Marcus Kingston]

"Your father would be against you being an X-men? Why's that?"

[John Hino]

"He wouldn't want me putting myself in harm's way."
