I9DT: One last time?

[Gideon Rede]

Gideon looked out over the quad from the roof of the dorms. He looked different. Eyes a mix of glowing blue and red, but still black veins running along his skin.

[Isabel Galen]

"Are you ready." Isabel asked, walking up beside him.

[Gideon Rede]

Gideon turned to look at Isabel.

"Countless hours spent in the danger room, the gym, on missions...my life has shaped me for this," Gideon said with a slight smile. "Are you?"

[Isabel Galen]

"I've spent a long time, wondering why I had this gift." Isabel said "Now, I know."

[Gideon Rede]

"And why do you have it?" Gideon asked cocking an eyebrow.

[Isabel Galen]

"I think you know." Isabel said, chuckling darkly.

[Gideon Rede]

Gideon's eyes glowed.

"Separating the wheat from the chaff," Gideon said, "Different means all for the same end, eh?"

[Lora Zalesky]

"Funny you should use that idiom," Lora said, approaching the other two.

[Isabel Galen]

"Would you prefer 'breaking a few eggs'?" Isabel asked.

[Lora Zalesky]

"I think that is also suitable," she replied, grinning.

[Gideon Rede]

"I prefer skulls to eggs," Gideon smiled.

[Death]

"Those that are broken are unworthy," said the shadowy figure as it descended onto the roof near them, without glowing wings or fanfare this time. "We will be the fire that burns away the weak and leaves the worthy tempered and tested."

"Is all prepared, my brethren?"

[Lora Zalesky]

"Death." She gave a polite bow. "All is prepared for us to do the bidding of He who made us strong."

[Gideon Rede]

"All that can be prepared for here," Gideon said no longer smiling.

[Death]

"En Sabah Nur is eternal," he said quietly. "He is the fire that has raised we four above the rest... but we are the fire that will raise the rest of the world. Be wary of weakness, wherever it is that it is found."

[Isabel Galen]

"We will find weakness, and wipe it away." Isabel said "It will be glorious."
