Claire smiles, "Well, if you need a distraction I'm good for that at least."

"Oh, isn't that the truth," Victoria mused with a smirk, rolling onto her stomach and resting her chin on her hands.

Claire's face turns a bit red, "So, what'd you order?"

[Victoria Valentine]

"Bacon, with potatoes on half," Victoria said. "Eat unhealthy pizza first, then dance hard enough to burn it all off. Sounds like a good night to me," she said with a smirk.

[Claire McKenna]

"Sounds like a great night, actually," Claire says.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Mmm... definitely could be, darling." I could think of a few things that would make it great...

[Claire McKenna]

"Yeah..." Claire says, smiling softly, "...I should...I should go get dressed."

"Don't want to flash the pizza boy when he gets here."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria waved her hand at her closet. "Just put something light on while we eat. I'll get the pizza, don't worry."

[Claire McKenna]

"I suppose that makes more sense," Claire says, getting up and heading to Victoria's closet, "Don't need to get pizza all over my outfit before we go out."

She quickly changed into one of Victoria's sleeping robes. Of course Victoria has sleeping robes, don't ask stupid questions.

There was a knock on the door out in the common room, and Victoria headed out to get the pizza. A couple minutes and one flustered pizza delivery boy later, she came back in with the pizza and a roll of paper towels. "Only thing I miss about the States, I think... pizza there is just so much better."

"Definitely agree to that," Claire says, sitting down, "Which is weird considering they're closer to it's homeland."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Well, there's a reason that you hear of gourmet chefs who cook french food, or Italian food, or any number of places' food... but not British food," Victoria smirked. "Oh, gourmet haggis! Now there's a great idea! No... we just do food better than they do."

"Damn straight," Claire says, "It's actually kind of sad how bad the food is here."

[Victoria Valentine]

"I know, right? It's why I cook for myself instead of bothering to try eating out most nights."

"I should cook for you some time," Claire says, "I'm told I'm a pretty decent cook."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Mmm... I'd like that," Victoria said. "No one ever cooks for me. They always feel like I'm judging them or something while I'm eating."

"Sounds like you've been hanging out with people with pretty low self-esteem," Claire says, "Judge me all you want. I'm awesome."

[Victoria Valentine]

"No, just people who are lousy cooks and know me," Victoria teased. "And yes, darling, we've already established that you are."

"I like to brag," Claire teases.

[Victoria Valentine]

"No wonder I get along so well with you," Victoria smirked, shifting and sitting lotus-style on the bed in front of her plate.

"Well, you're not too bad yourself," Claire says.

"And together, we're magnificent," Victoria mused with a wink, taking a careful bite of the hot pizza.

"Exactly," Claire says, raising her slice of pizza in a sort of toast.
