Someone had left the Danger Room running something that was listed as a relaxation simulation. Inside the room, a massive vaulted hall was lined with massive amounts of treasure and magical light sparkled off of the piles of gold and gems and other assorted trinkets. On top of the largest mound of gold rested a craggy black dragon with glowing orange cracks along its hide. The dragon appeared to be asleep, but didn't they always?

"...this is a relaxation sim?" Brigid muses to herself, stepping into the vaulted cavern.
"For what, Scrooge McDuck?"
Then, she spots the dragon.
"...or Smaug."

The dragon opened one eye just a fraction, looking at the newcomer for a moment before lifting its head. "I will admit to that bit of inspiration," she said, yawning widely. Now that Brigid was actually in, she could see that there were a few charred suits of armor resting among the treasure.

"...okay, so you're not part of the simulation?"

"Would you be able to tell if I was?" The dragon smirked.

"...well, most of the AI here is pretty hokey."

"I see," she said. "And I don't qualify as hokey? I must try harder."

"I could if it would make you feel better," she said, rising to her feet and stretching her wings.

"So you're really into this 'being a dragon' thing, huh?"

"I guess you can turn back to human? I think I'd remember a giant lava dragon in class."

"University student," she said, tilting her head. "I can ask Gemma if she'd let me shift back, but she likes to be in charge of the human side. Says I punch people when I'm in control of it."

"Oh so you're kind of...both sharing headspace in there?"

"Sort of, not really,I don't understand it," she said, gesturing with one claw. The dragon's demeanor changed, becoming less... arrogant and more timid, "They say we're actually the same person. It's weird."

"Maybe something kind of subconscious, then. I've heard some of the power control teachers say that certain powers are easier to wrap your head around when it's not 'you' on some level."

"She certainly seems more... dragon-like," she said, settled back down and folding her wings.

She seemed to think about that, "I could see how she would be more comfortable with breathing fire and lava."

"So you know, maybe that's just how you cope. For now."
"I mean, I totally get not being quite comfortable with your powers."

"It took a lot just not to freak out around fire... which sounds weird now that I say it out loud."
