DR - Getting in some Training

The site of the recently restored Braddock Lighthouse. Aircraft hangars and other X-Men facilities, including a Cerebra unit and the Danger Room have been constructed around the foundations of the lighthouse.

DR - Getting in some Training

Cecil had scheduled time in the danger room for some training . He had also sent out a message allowing others on the XU teams to join him if they wanted to. He currently was trying to set up the controls, glancing between the console and a manual. He wasn't very good with computers.

"Righto," Tommy said, dressed in his flame-retardant outfit despite a lack of fire powers to speak of, at the moment. "What's on the menu today, then, old sport?"

"I don't really know. The program is picking that out itself, all tailored to who all shows up."

As they tried to get that sorted out, the probably-worse-than-anyone-with-computers Zeryn approached in his X-Uniform. "Ah, good, fellow warriors," he said, similarly giving the screen a speculative-but-clueless look.

"That should be good." With that he closed the windows. "Computer, start program."

The scene changed and they would soon find themselves in a city at night. They were on the roof of a three story building, apparently from the look of the place in an industrial sector. The only lights on were the street lights, as the buildings in front of them had apparently shut down for the night. This area of the city was silent, the only noises coming from a good distance.

Zeryn surveyed the area with a frown. "What are its contents?" he asked, surveying the area. "I trust that tunneling is not the entry method, it would make far too much noise... I should not wish to miss the villians for counting upon their direct approach."

"The target is a crate containing a piece advanced electronic equipment. The both the object itself and crate is large so they'll have to bring a truck to get it out at the loading dock... over there."
Cecil pointed to the loading dock which had a raised deck in front of four large garage type doors.

"Then wait we shall," Zeryn said, crouching in a shadow where he could have a decent view. "Pity, we aren't near a dock... but this should be more interesting."

Just then a car rolled down the road beside them at a constant but slow pace. It was a nondescript late model sedan, and while it was hard to see inside, it clearly had multiple adult passengers. It continued at the same pace until it was out of view.

Cecil watched as the car drove past. "I wonder how long we'll have to wait."

"We could wait inside," Zeryn reasoned. "Little chance of missing the villians next to the prize."

The car from before came slowly rolling down the road, only this time from the opposite direction.

Zeryn frowned as he considered it. "I believe we would have heard if there were a second car present," he reasoned.

Right as the car approached the entrance of the warehouse the car pulled to the side of the road and stopped. A man in a dark suit got out the passenger's side, you couldn't really make out his face in the dim lighting except that it was very pale. Anyway he walked to the back of the car and was looking for something in the trunk.

The guy searching in the trunk pulled out a long pair of bolt cutters and walked over to the gate and went to work on the chain securing the gate. As he did that a box van with Longfellow's Furniture written on its sides pulled up near the gate.
