A knock came on the door.

The delivery man set the thin brown envelope on said gurney, nodded, and left.

"I miss all my guinea pigs when they're gone," Nina says happily, setting the paper back down.

"Ahh, how sweet," Will said, as he shifted back, sitting on the counter -- still 11 inches tall, for humorous effect.

"Hello ma baby, hello ma honey, hello ma rag time, summertime gal..." Will sang, doing a bit of a high kicking, Michigan J Frog routine.
"You got the stuff?"

"Good plan, good plan," Will said, going to 'normal' height.
"So. What's the plan, ma man?"

"Fun stuff!" Nina says, opening a case. She takes out a small glass chamber filled with some unidentifiable liquid. There is also a head inside.
"Will, meet Fritz. Fritz, Will."

Nina laughs, "Of course not."
"He's dead. Dead people are usually harmless."

After finishing hooking everything up, Nina gets a clipboard and walks to Will's side.
"First things first, we're going to use the magnetic fields generated by the magnetic field thingy to see how your body responds."
"....to magnetic fields."

"Well, that follows. Just be careful -- Sara ripped me in to chunks when she cranked it up too high," Will said, headed over to the magnetic field thingy for magnetic fields.

"That's sort of the hope!" Nina says, as she throws the switch.
She's set up the fields to separate Will into two portions suspended in mid-air. By science.

There was some unpleasant ripping and tearing, which we shall excuse description of for those weak in stomach and heart.
The end result was two Will Stantons, suspended in mid-air.
"My head..."
"Ugh, that was more fun when Janice did it."

Nina scribbles something on the clipboard.
"How do you feel?"

Nina finishes putting up the screen. She steps to the side that all the machinery is on.
"Now, I'm going to broadcast Fritz's suspended neural activity directly into your nanoprobes' receivers. If I'm right, this is going to be kind of cool."

Will2 closed his eyes and shook and quivered -- and aged rapidly in front of her, wrinkles forming, hair falling out, a beer-gut forming, even a couple teeth being re-absorbed into his head.

"Those are most likely the memories of being frozen," Nina says, "The neural activity I'm transmitting to you is from a brain that has been frozen since 1943."
