Elena leaned back in a beach chair, looking out over the ocean as she tugged at the long glove from her training outfit. Several buoys of varying sizes floated out in the water at different distances.

Jason trotted in, dressed for the occasion in his best training gear and practically bouncing in nervous excitement.

"Well, my name is Elena and I'm from Paris," she said. She reached into a cooler next to her chair, "Are you thirsty?"

She pulled a soda out of the cooler and tossed it to him, "Absolutely lovely. Best city in the world. And the food..." She smiled and popped open her own soda. "What's Hawaii like?"

"It's pretty awesome. Great beaches, clear water, great surfing. And really pretty I guess. Nothing like England."

"Okay!" he answered, putting down his drink and getting up. He rubbed his hands together and breathed out before taking aim with one arm. Electricity arced from spots on his forearm into his hand, and he fired off a wild bolt. He managed to just barely wing it.

He heard her footsteps in the sand and then her voice came not to far from his right ear. "How do you draw on the electricity? What does it feel like to draw it up?"

"Okay, try it again. This time, plant your feet. Feel the shout, but draw it up from your toes, up through your body, and down your arm. See if you can focus that shout down into a whisper."

Jason nodded, opened his eyes, and tried the new stance. He aimed and charged up. A few arcs along the way singed his clothes, but the result was a much straighter shot and a powerful direct hit.
"Wow! Cool!"
