Dee looked up at Will from the bay door of one of the workshops.
"Yes, it's still there," she smirked.

"Thought you'd still be back with your long lost mates. I was just finishing locking down the armory in case any of these new students get curious."

"No offense, but I'm not planning on becoming jaded."

"I'm not in the X-Men. Or I wasn't, I suppose."

"Ah, yes.
Never had the taste for that, myself."

"Bit different than most of the agencies, I suppose. MI-13 is Wisdom's crew. Her Majesty's spook squad, where spook doesn't mean spy for once."

"I'll leave my opinion of Mr. Wisdom for another time," Will joked.

"Oh, he's worse if you actually have to be around him for longer. Good sense of humor, but try convincing me that man's stare can't pierce adamantium."

"DO you really want to mess with me?"

"Not especially, and I started building the suit long before Wisdom recruited me."

"Nobody'd even twigged that I was a mutant until I was in University. I figured, what bloody business is it of theirs?"
"Still, once I was outed some doors opened in the engineering program, and Stark knows how to put stars in a girl's eyes."
"Funny how I ended up with all these skirt-chasers in my life, isn't it?"

"For the sake of decorum, and my spleen, I won't comment."

"Good save."
"And besides, I rather wanted to fly. Not my gift, so I'll settle for building my wings of steel rather than wax and clipping along at supersonic speeds."
