"And that's why you're a disappointment," Nina snaps, her voice uncharacteristically angry. "You shrink away from all the good that could be done because you don't have the will to fight for your future. You're hiding while the world suffers and you rationalize your cowardice by claiming to be responsible."

"How many people have died because of the time that was wasted arguing with people about stem-cell research? The cloning of human tissue? Vaccinations?"

"The will to fight for my future is exactly what I have. Because creating a new kind of suffering to end another is not progress. It's just cruelty with delusions of grandeur."

[Nina Madaraki]

"Big words from someone that has never done anything except protect the status quo," Nina says.

[John Hino]

"Says the SHIELD agent," he retorted with a roll of his eyes.

[Nina Madaraki]

"Ex-SHIELD agent," Nina says. "Me and the agency are no longer on speaking terms."

"Because of arguments like this one?"

"For a lot of reasons," Nina says.

He sighed.

"Look. I'm... sorry I turned this nice chat into a moral debate. I came in here to welcome you back, not chase you off."

Nina laughs, "You're sweet."

"Besides. It will take a lot more than that to chase me off."

"You'll probably need torches. Maybe some pitchforks."

"And a really big can of Raid," he smirked.
