Miranda smiled, "Rest assured I still feel that."

[Kay Haddock]

"Good." she smiles, scooting up behind Miranda between her wings to hug her from behind and put her chin on her shoulder. "You got anything you want to do once you're done with school?"

[Miranda Weaver]

"Stay sane and not create an alternate version of myself by giving my DNA to a black ops government agency. I think I'll settle for those two things."

[Kay Haddock]

Kay isn't really sure what to say to that and just gives Miranda a squeeze.

"That's probably a good thing, yeah..." she finally manages though it sounds like this whole topic is kind of beyond her.

[Miranda Weaver]

"The simpler answer is no," Miranda said, relaxing a little against Kay. "I'm not really sure what future there is for me. It's one of the places I don't look."

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah, well, it's not like I really know either and I think it's the same for everyone. You think Haley knows what the heck she wants to do with her life beyond tweeting for a living?"

[Miranda Weaver]

"Tweeting for a living seems to work for Mr. Gabriel, so I would imagine she might have a future in it."

[Kay Haddock]

"Still, who knows what we'll end up doing, you know?"

[Miranda Weaver]

"I would assume Mom has some idea, but yeah."

[Kay Haddock]

"So yeah. Plenty of time to figure it out, right?"

[Miranda Weaver]

"Time is never as long as people assume, but more or less, yes." She smiled and reached up to touch Kay's face.

"Pff, sure it is. Except when I'm with you, then time flies." she smiles.

[Miranda Weaver]

"Now you're just being cheesy." Still, she was smiling.

"Yeah, but it's still true."
