Danger Room: Hot Potato

Her hits begin to come with a little more force. "I think there's a difference between fighting for those you care about and randomly killing. Do you suggest otherwise?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I said nothing about randomly killing," Ryan said, a slightly hard, defensive tone to his voice. "There's fighting to survive. You get threatened, you fight, you get through it, it's over."

"When you're fighting for someone you love, though?" His next attack was much more decisive, darting around her with all his speed and aiming for a pressure point on her left side. "You can't afford to just survive. You have to make sure that threat is finished, and won't ever threaten them again."

"Not a popular opinion, I know."

At the hit of the pressure point she drops, wincing.

"Not a popular one, but one I can agree with." She says through grit teeth. "Maybe I misunderstood you. I thought you were one of those 'no violence' types and were about to preach to me about some bull-shit of being the better person and all that."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Me, a pacifist. Now that's a good one," Ryan mused. He offered her a hand up, offering it to the arm that wasn't on the side he'd just hit. "It's when you start doing it for fun that things start getting a little iffy."

Taking the hand, she stands again and gets back into a fighting stance. Apparently she's not one to give up. "There may be fun in fights, but knowing when to draw the line is necessary. Already came across a kid here who doesn't seem to know that line yet. I almost snapped on her. Pushing people's buttons is not smart. Especially when they're not your enemy. Pretty sure she's gonna get herself or someone else killed one of these days." Though she winces from the previous hit, she keeps her strength of hits at what they were before, this time focusing a bit more on defense.

Ryan adjusted as well, going on the offensive. He was pretty clearly holding back, and it was probably a good thing. "Yeah, you get those. I always hope they'll grow out of it. Sometimes they do."

[Anika Sloan]

She keeps up her defenses as much as she can, a few of his blows obviously getting through. "Hopefully she does. Love her spunk, but I think she's more of a hothead than my sister are. And that's saying something." A small smirk appears on her face at the pun.
