Power Control 100 - First class!

The Power Control class was, appropriately, meeting in the Danger Room. Ryan showed up early, configuring the room's safeties to their proper levels and setting up the students' individual access permissions. While he did that in the observation booth, the sign on the Danger Room door instructed the students to head into the room, which at the moment had a pleasant meadow scene in it, a ring of tree stumps programmed in to serve as chairs for the students once the class began.

Cal walked in, looking around the Danger Room.

No. Just... just leave it, he thought, wandering into the 'field'.

Haley showed up in a pair of black athletic shorts and a gray shirt with a large Xavier's logo on the front.

"Oh neat! I never got to see this stuff in the last danger room. Just boring obstacles. I didn't know it could be THIS cool." she announce to no one in particular.

Cal glanced back at the door, took a moment to not-quite-obviously check Haley out, then sat down under a tree a little ways off from the circle of stumps.

Aisha was heading in as well. Or, at least it was probably Aisha. Unless a pair of sweat pants and a XI sweatshirt had learned to walk on their own. Unless you were Cal, in which case, you just saw Aisha walking into the room.

Cal jumped where he sat, shoving what he was working on back into his backpack. Unlike everyone else, he wasn't dressed for gym, or anything else active, and in truth he'd tried to get out of this.

And now, there was a girl sitting next to him. "Oh! H-hi!"

Dana entered, dressed in her workout clothes and carrying a makeshift utility belt over her shoulder.

Seeing the peaceful scene around them, Dana tilted her head for a moment. Then she clasped the utility belt around her waist.

"Oh..." she said, really starting to get that he wasn't fond of who he was.

"Sorry...guess I never really knew," she said quietly. "Well maybe like...you'll learn how to make that not happen again..I know I really want to learn to control myself. Right now if I have bad dreams, there's good chances that I'll break most of my room."
