"A lot of people kind of... hyperfocus on certain things. It's not as bad as I thought, though."

"I didn't really have a frame of reference or expectations, so I can't necessarily say I was surprised. Not that there haven't been surprises, just none involving how my classmates treat me."

"Well you seem pretty cool, yeah? Also flying is always popular. For reasons."

"The wings are kind of new. I'm still knocking stuff over with them."

"Nobody's super-awesome with a mutation at first, yeah?"

"I suppose that's true."

"So in the meantime they're probably good for that posing and looking mysterious thing you've got going on."

"It's working out slowly. It's a *lot* to get used to."

"I can only imagine. A lot that people take for granted, plus a whole heap of weird."

"I'll get used to it eventually. There's still a lot of sore spots to work through."
