Issue 1 Downtime

Allison pulled the university car in a lot near the Bull & Willow. "So after a little research, we can either eat in the Bull, which is an upscale pub, or we can eat in the Willow, which is more restaurant. Having looked at both, I'm good with either," she said. She was dressed 'smart casual', nice enough to look good, but not formal.

"Which is to say if I choose the pub, it won't be... your usual crowd," Dee smirks faintly.

She herself is wearing slacks and a black turtleneck. To be fair, it's nicer than she usually dresses.

"Yes, no overt bikers in the pub. But like I said, I'm good with either. It's the company I'm here for mostly."

"The restaurant it is," she said. Once in the restaurant, it was a nice place without being a stuffy high-end place. The two of them were seated after a short wait and brought the evening's menus. "One of the reasons I picked this place," she said, looking around, "No kids after 7:00."

"I deal with them at the school. Doesn't mean I want to deal with them while I'm having dinner out. And don't get me started on the interesting thoughts on cafeteria etiquette that I received from that detention I oversaw."

"Well, this detention included the four that got into that altercation in the cafeteria," she said with a slight chuckle, "so they were already on the wrong foot." She looked over the menu, "Trying to decide if it's a steak night or not."

"Believe it or not, I have had tofu a couple of times. I can eat it, I'm a big girl, but it's definitely not on my list of must-have foods."

Allison just raised an eyebrow at her before ordering some wine and a starter. "You must also think I catch my chicken on the wing."

"No worries," Allison said, waving it off. "It's been years. She was a perfect match for my father in just about all respects and he was where I got my love of motorcycles."
