Roland led Miranda into a local pizza joint, after droning on for a while.
"...now of course if you want REAL pizza, you'd have to go to southern Italy, but that's a bit out of the way for lunch."

"Now, this place is a nice little spot. They do a variety of pastas and whatnot, but I'm thinking, if you can never remember having a pizza, that that might be the thing to get you 'in' with the kids of these days. I understand it's quite popular."

"I might be inclined to agree with you but at the time I was eating it, my food experience wasn't particularly broad. Haley introduced me to ice cream though. It was delicious."

I mostly find that these sorts of religious things get in the way, and only pay lip-service to them, myself."

After watching how Roland ate the pizza and some of the other patrons in the place, she picked up a slice and took a few experimental bites. "It's pretty good."
