It was... well he didn't have a watch. But it was a pretty ungodly hour when Izzy's phone rang.

"I... ok, I need you to listen here. Go to my room an' you'll see the carpet's kind of loose by the doorway? Pull it up an' the key'll be hidden there. There's a jar of money on my dresser. You still with me?"

"Your room, key, jar of money." Isabel said starting to sound more awake "Ok, yeah, I've got it. What do you need me to do with it?"

"Was just a little toss-up! THen they say... um... assault, inciting a riot, which is bloody rubbish because it takes more than eight bloody people to be a riot, and-" He cleared his throat. "There was a fight," he said, much more calmly.

"Ok, I'll be there as soon as I can." Isabel said, her voice slightly muffled as she pulled on clothes.

The police looked rather irritated. There were some people there, apparently to bail people out like Izzy, and as she waited she got to see a few other bruised-up Gooners being walked out by friends, family, or angry girlfriends. Finally after a few minute it was her turn to speak to the overworked-looking cop.

The officer looked down at something on her desk. "Connor Ma- Oh. Him. All right, five hundred fifty quid, and we'll need you to sign for him. He knows how to take care of the rest," she said in an unamused voice.

Isabel counted out the money, handed it over, and signed where she had too. Then she sat down, and waited for Connor to show up.

Connor was escorted out (amidst the sound of a lot of commotion from back in the holding cells, rubbing his wrists and sporting the various signs of having been on the winning side of a few fights in the recent past (though from the looks of it, the other side hadn't given in easily). He looked around, then spotted Izzy, walking over. "Thanks, luv," he sighed. "Helluva night y'know?"

Connor waved that off. "Someone's gonna have the beating. Might as well be the tosser who earned it."

Connor rolled his eyes. "Bloody hell, fine," he said climbing into the cab. "Bradock manor," he told the driver.

Connor sighed, then made a 'go ahead' gesture.

It was mostly surface damage. Nothing was broken, though it might have been a close thing. Someone unaccustomed to taking a beating probably would be whining and moaning about it, but Connor was fairly used to beatings. It looked like he took much more than just a couple shots to the head, though.

Isabel felt the damage and then started to pull the injuries out of him, starting with the head trauma, then moving on to the bruised ribs.
