There were some people there, apparently to bail people out like Izzy, and as she waited she got to see a few other bruised-up Gooners being walked out by friends, family, or angry girlfriends. Finally after a few minute it was her turn to speak to the overworked-looking cop.

He looked around, then spotted Izzy, walking over. "Thanks, luv," he sighed. "Helluva night y'know?"

It was mostly surface damage. Nothing was broken, though it might have been a close thing. Someone unaccustomed to taking a beating probably would be whining and moaning about it, but Connor was fairly used to beatings. It looked like he took much more than just a couple shots to the head, though.
