Sat Sept 27th - X-Team sign-ups

Early on Saturday morning a poster is up on all bulletin-boards as well as in the main entrance hall and the door to the cafeteria.
Attention all XI Students
If you are interested in joining the X-Teams as an
active on-duty member then sign up for evaluation on
Friday October 3rd
A briefing and the subsequent evaluation will take place
in the Danger Room. Parental consent is required for
students who are not wards of the school.
If necessary the following people can be contacted to help you
talk to your parents: Will Stanton, Stephanie Kaltiera, Ryan Gabriel

Jennifer looks like she's about to say something snarky as she walks by, but then stop, frowns, narrows her eyes as she thinks, then finally pulls out a pen and puts her name down as well.

Miranda stopped and looked at the bulletin board, tilting her head in an absolutely unnecessary gesture as she regarded the sign-up sheet.

A pen floated through the air over the head of the small crowd in front of the sign and surprisingly neatly wrote Haley's name in bubbly script.

On it's way back to Haley the pen bumps against an invisible wall, making it shimmer for just a second before it falls to the floor. Jennifer is pointedly not looking at Haley, innocently talking to Graham a couple feet away.

Haley sighed in mild annoyance before bending over to try and grab the pen with her hands before someone stepped on it.

Miranda reaches out an arm to ward off someone who is about to trip over the bending Haley. The person goes around and Miranda's arm drops back down.

Miranda took Haley's pen, signed 'Miranda' on the list and handed the pen back to Haley. "Thanks."

Roland raised an eyebrow as he walked by, seeing so many teens signing up for dangerous duty. He gave Haley a long, silent look.
