Issue 1 Downtime

Brigid makes her way into the cafeteria with Murphy. She makes a bee-line for the serving area, grabbing a few burgers more than you'd think a girl her size could put away.

She likes a bit of diversity in her carnivore lifestyle.

"Those look good, but I'm not risking my fingers going for your tray," Brigid smirks, heading for a table.

Brigid laughs, taking a seat and digging right in.

"God, this is going to hit the spot."

Vertie moves along to the hot bar, filling a bowl with soup, a mug with hot water and 'improving' a couple of slices of toast. "Murphy...Brigid." she nodded to the girls in greeting.

"Oh hey," Brigid says between bites. "We were gonna go look for you. Good timing."

"The universal call of food." She smiled and 'improved' the contents of her mug with a two tea bags and several packets of sugar. "What's up?"

Haley looked slightly more rested than she had for the past few days, but not by a ton. Still, she looked rather chipper as she wandered looking for a seat. Spotting her former roomie, she headed in that direction.

"Hey Brig, Vertie, mind if I join you guys?" she smiled.

"Oh hey Haley," she says, looking to Vertie. "Uhm... we talked about the thing. I guess it'll wait."

Haley looked at the girls a bit unsure of herself as she was taking her seat, "I...can go somewhere else if I'm interrupting something private?"

"It's okay. We probably wouldn't have gotten much of a word in between bites," Brigid chuckles, taking another.

Haley's eyes widened at the amount of food on Brigid's plate. "Jesus, where the hell do you put that?"

Haley might get the impression that the two were keeping some sort of secret from her!

"Hard workout," Murphy agrees between bites.

Haley quirked her eyebrow at Brigid, while taking a bite of her sandwich. "I dunno about that. I'm busting my ass trying to be like. Awesome. I wanna be like Theresa and be on the X-Teams when I graduate. So any sorta workout that gets you looking like...whoa damn...I'm there," she said, nodding at Brigid appreciatively. "Not like you were outta shape before or anything, but Jesus, you're like all muscle."

Man what are they talking about...no...no...don't even think about it. You aren't a snoop; you don't screw around with your TP anymore.
