Graham's side of the dorm was a depressingly spartan affair; no posters, no computer, no family photos. The only personal decoration present was a large, handmade dreamcatcher featuring what look like actual wolf teeth. His bed was also far too neatly made for a teenager not in military school.

Jennifer wanders around the hallways until she finds Paul's room. She knocks on the door.

Paul was, surprisingly, in his room!

He opened the door, and was sort of surprised to see Jennifer there. "Oh, uh, hi, Jennifer," he said. Is she here for Graham?

"Hey, you're the guy who makes portals, right?"

"I... yyyyeah, I am," he said, looking at her suspiciously, not sure where this was going. His mind raced to try to think of if he'd done anything wrong lately that might have annoyed someone. The answer was probably yes, but he didn't think he'd done anything that'd piss her off.

"Can you make, like, a hole in the floor that'd go to the basement?"

He considered it. "I... suppose? Can't we just walk down to the basement?" Where IS the basement, anyway?

"Great. I need your help then." she says and turns around to head down the hall.

Aaaaand don't answer. "All right, I'll bite," he said, following her, taking a moment to lock his door. "Where are we going?"

"Hmm? Oh, the rec center to help Murphy."

"Oh, okay. Shortcut," Paul said. He flicked his hand in front of them and a portal opened to the rec center.

More specifically, the boys' changing room. Oops.

Jennifer walks through the portal, more marveling at the effect itself and either disregarding the fact that it's the boys' changing room or oblivious to it.

Paul turned red when he realized where the portal went to. "Oh, um... let's get out of here," he said, getting his bearings and hurrying toward the door.

"Yeah, it smells kind of bad in here." she agrees.

"I doubt the girls' change room smells like flowers," he said, defensively, as he walked out into the rec center. "So... um... what do we need to do?"

"Better than here at least." she says and leads Paul to the room Murphy disappeared in.
