Issue 1 Downtime

Emily was waiting for Sidney outside of the chemistry labs, She kept hidden, trying not to arouse any notice or suspicion. This might have been easier if she wasn't dressed like she was cosplaying the Black Widow.

Sid isn't trying nearly as hard. Sure, she's keeping quiet but she's mostly just walking down the deserted hallway, wearing her usual not-form-fitting leather jacket. When she sees Emily she lets out a subdued snort-laugh. "So you're Agent Emily now?" she whispers.

"Isn't it great? I made it myself," Emily says, moving out of hiding. "And no, I am a normal teenage girl."

"Of course. So, I figured you'd slip in under the door and open it from the other side."

"Oh." Emily looks surprised. "Okay. Yeah. That makes sense."

Emily looks at the door.

"...Could you turn around?"

Emily unzips the front of the catsuit while Sidney has her back turned and stretches out underneath the door. There's a *click* sound and Emily opens the door a crack.

"Makes sense." she says to herself, picking up the catsuit and handing it to Emily when she cracks the door. "There ya go."

"I think that was the first normal thing I've seen you do." Sid smirks as she waits for Emily to put on her ~~clothes~~ second skin again.

A light came from down the hall--someone with a flashlight apparently was checking out who opened the door.

"Nah. Glauber's Salt. It's... shit, I had it written down somewhere." she says, rifling through her pockets and pulling out a scrap of paper that says Na2SO4 on it. "Fuck! Hide!" she stage-whispers, hurrying off to hide behind a table.

Emily glances over at Sidney and puts her finger to her lips, shushing the girl.

Then she stands up and steps into the middle of the room where Will can see her.

"Hello, trash. My name is Emily Bradshaw. I am a chemistry grad student, and I was only trying to get some work done before I was rudely interrupted."

Will sighed. ""Emily, does your mother know you're here?"

"The whore requires me to inform her if I leave during the evenings," Emily says. "She does not inquire where I am going."

Behind her back, a tendril of liquid darkforce wraps around a tazer attached to her belt.

"However, she does insist that I take certain measures to ensure my safety."

The tendril whipped out and Emily attempted to quickly give Will a good ol' fashioned zapping.

Will had been keeping his posture deliberatly non-threatening, so he wasn't ready for the sudden attack!

The taser hit him, sending him to the ground as he began to shift wildly, and out of control!

"Grab what we came for and let's move!" Emily hissed at Sidney. "That won't last long!"

"Holy shit!" Sid blinks at Will's out of control shifting. "Right, yeah, the salt." she says, tearing herself away from the disturbing sight and rifling through the cabinets until she finds the container she's looking for.

Emily grabs onto a large cabinet filled with glassware and chemicals and gives it a shove. There's a crash as it hits the ground, followed by fumes beginning to spread through the room.

"Should keep 'em busy," Emily says, her voice developing a thick Jersey action. "Let's get outta here, sister."

"Yeah, check it out." she says, holding up a small plastic bottle that, from the sound of it, is full of some kinda salt. "I heard this makes for some wicked laxative."
