Mallory steps off the bus with a dispatch case under one arm and walks up the street and onto the driveway of the mansion, taking a moment to take a good look around.

Seeing the girl getting off the bus, Callie headed her way.

"Hello," Callie said with a smile, greeting the girl warmly, "Welcome to the Institute."

"Good morning, miss. Thank you." she says, quirking an eyebrow. "Didn't expect a welcoming at the front door, I'm a little late to the semester."

"Well, I'm not an official greeter or anything," Callie says, "I was just enjoying the day and saw you get off the bus. Thought I'd come see if you needed any help finding your way around."

"I'm Callie, by the way," Callie says, "Kaliyah Shah."

"Well, what would you like to know?" Callie asks.

"Well I got some information about class-rooms and facilities around campus." she says, pulling out a couple papers from her case. "But not exactly a map or any directions."

"Well, the student dorms are right over there, if you want to drop off your stuff," Callie says, gesturing towards Braddock Manor.

"Just my parents. The moved here from London."

"That's nice," Callie says, "Well, anyway, the Rec Center is over there. There's the Med Center. Over there, you can find Administration. And down that way is the Lighthouse."

"Ah yes, the one that burned downed once. You'd think it was something more relevant the way the town treats that as town history."

"Well, rumor has it that it's special somehow," Callie says, "Some sort of magic, extra-dimensional spooky stuff."

She let's out a dry chuckle. "Yes, I'm sure. People have very colourful imaginations sometimes."

"I guess," Callie says, "Besides that, the lighthouse is where they keep everything interesting. The hangar, the Danger Room, that sort of stuff."

"Those would be hard to miss when they take off. It inspires people to fabricate the wildest ideas about what else is in there. Not that mutants would really need tanks. I heard some of the kids sank a ship couple a while ago."
