After her oh so pleasant encounter with Regan Kay makes her way to the little kitchen at the end of the hall to wait for Theresa. Still sniffling she sets up her laptop.

Theresa arrives, setting the bag of dry ingredients on a counter and starting to fish the perishable ingredients out of the fridge. That's when she hears the sniffling. Turning around, she frowns, "Kay, are you alright?" Way to go with the stupid question.

"Hey... Y-yeah, I'm fine. Regan's just such a bitch sometimes..."

"No argument from me, but I got the impression that you two were pretty tight," she said, managing to keep her temper in check.

"Yeah I dunno what got into her." she sniffs. "She just got super mean when I told her about us."

"Not to dis your friend too much, but she seems to get overly pissy at the drop of a hat." She went back to arranging the ingredients and trying to find utensils to work with.

"I guess, but she seemed to be nice to me at least. Now she just started laying into me with stupid stuff that's just not true." Unless you just don't notice anymore!

She puts her laptop aside and goes to help Theresa. "Hey uhm... I don't... you don't think I smell like ocean or anything, do you?"

"Only when you've been in the ocean," Theresa said, looking at her sideways. "Was that what she was going off on you about?"

"Kinda, yeah... She might have phrased it a little differently..."

"Look, she's a ghost, and as cool as that is, it's not like she can really smell stuff. She's just being mean for no reason and that wouldn't be unheard of for her." Though she kept her tone reasonable, Theresa's eyes were far more unreasonable.

"You're right. Guess she was just holding back all this time."

"But if she keeps making you cry, I'm going to ghost bust her ass," Theresa teased, although there was that slight edge that made it unclear whether she was entirely joking.

"She's just pissy and bitter about being dead."

"I can't blame her too much for being bitter. There seems to also be a great deal of suckage about being a ghost."

"Well yeah! But I'm not giving her anymore sympathy if she's gonna act like that."

"Enough about bitter bitchy ghosts then. Show me how this cookie making works."

"Right. We have more important things to do." she musters a smile and gets the recipe she printed out.

It didn't take long before Theresa had managed to cover her arms in flour to the elbows. "I think I might possibly suck at this," she said, looking at the mess she was making.

"Hey, making a mess is part of it. The trick is to keep the mess localized." she nods sagely, then carefully pokes Theresa's nose with a flour and dough covered finger.

Theresa spends a few seconds in a vain, but comical, attempt to lick the dough off her nose.

Kay laughs. "Yeah I don't think that's gonna work. It'd be impressive if it did though!"

"Such a shame," she said, reaching up to pick it generally off her nose and pop it in her mouth.

"Handful of chocolate chips, coming right up!" she says mixing a couple more in.

"Alrighty then. Is the oven ready yet?"

About that time, the oven beeped, indicating the preheating was finished. "Sounds like it," Theresa said, moving over to the small sink to wash her hands.

"In they go then. Now we just gotta fend off anyone who's drawn in by the smell." she chuckles, putting the tray with the cookies in the oven.

"Fending I can do," she said, finishing washing up her hands and grabbing some of the dirty dishes to wash them.

"Aye aye!" she mock-salutes and puts the dried-off bowl on her head.

Slowly delicious cookie smell starts spreading.

"Quiet day. AKA: bored. So time to fix someone's computer before it dies on her and I get Slimer sicced on me or something," he said, heading over to where Kay'd set up her laptop.

"Don't think you have to," Cal mused, shutting off the computer and turning it over, pulling a screwdriver out of his backpack.
